Kierauniv International is headed by Dr. Dharshini, a well-renowned gynaecologist in Singapore. She has extensive experience in both natural childbirth and cesarean sections.

Dr. Dharshini is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the United Kingdom. 

Her paper on encephalitis related to ovarian dermoid cysts won first prize at the Singapore International Congress on Obstetrics and Gynaecology, which we find impressive.

This clinic offers a wide array of women’s care services for teen care, pregnancy, and fertility.

We like that it offers a focused service for teenagers, keeping in mind the challenges that can often arise with inevitable hormonal changes that come with puberty.

In fact, it has an open door policy where young adult clients can e-mail their concerns to the clinic and get a response within 24 hours.

Kierauniv International’s gynaecology services tackle the most common issues such as dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, and irregular menstrual cycles, to name a few. It even handles issues for aging women, such as menopause. 

We like that its comprehensive fertility services include a detailed history briefing as well as a physical exam so that clients get the specific help they need. To treat infertility, it also performs intrauterine insemination (IUI).

The clinic is equipped with the latest medical tools and applies modern surgical protocols to keep clients as comfortable as possible. 

Kierauniv International is located in Irrawaddy Road, which is a 6-minute walk from the Bef Novena Stn Exit B bus stop. It has a reasonable parking space which is great, but traffic in the area is quite heavy.

However, some clients we talked to claimed that the clinic’s receptionist could do better at accommodating patient inquiries.

One patient had an issue claiming her medical insurance and was met with one-liner replies by the receptionist with no further details about the concern.

Wendy Women’s Clinic is known for its expertise in vaginoplasty and infertility problems. Dr. Wendy Teo, who leads this practice, is one of the well-known professionals who deal with these issues.

Dr. Teo has over 10 years of experience, which gives us confidence in her expertise. She is a well-known obstetrician who provides end-to-end services – from prenatal to post-pregnancy care.

The clients we spoke to mentioned her passion and care in providing help for their emergency cases. For instance, Dr. Teo expedited a patient’s screening so that the patient could immediately start her cancer treatment. 

We also want to highlight the clinic’s strong reputation for vaginoplasty procedures. The clinic is well equipped with the latest laser technology that stimulates new collagen to relieve vaginal relaxation syndrome and vaginal atrophy.

However, several clients we talked to complained about the clinic’s staff. They claimed that the staff got several important details wrong – such as their name – during their visit.

A client also claimed the staff to be unfriendly because they scowled at her for asking for her test results.

It wouldn’t hurt for them to double-check patient information so that patients can be correctly addressed and properly attended to.

We were just deeply troubled after hearing from a patient who reportedly contracted infections from her C-section procedure. She claimed to have gotten the infection from the incisions made during labor.

While the clinic offered a 50% discount, we don’t think this justifies the discomfort and emotional stress caused by the situation. 

On a brighter note, we want to point out that Wendy Women’s Clinic is just a 6-minute walk from the Novena Station bus stop. It also provides plenty of parking, but the area is known to have heavy traffic.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Chia Yee Tien is one of the most respected and renowned gynaecologists in Singapore. She is also a well-known medical lecturer at the National University of Singapore.

Dr. Tien is impressively fluent in Mandarin, English, Cantonese, Bahasa Melayu, and Bahasa Indonesia, which allows her to treat a wide variety of women.

The clinic specializes in maternal-fetal medicine and is exceptionally good at handling complicated and high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Tien is able to perform essential services for these cases like colposcopy, open gynaecological surgery, and laparoscopy.

While clients we’ve spoken to have nothing but praises for Dr. Chia, the same cannot be said about the clinic’s nurses and administrative staff. Apparently, they can be quite sarcastic when replying to patient inquiries, which is a shame.

Be that as it may, we believe this issue can be rectified quickly with proper staff training and screening. There are also clients who claimed to have problems contacting the clinic’s telephone line because there was no one picking up the phone.

Dr. Tiens clinic is only a quick 5-minute walk when you get down at the Orchard Station bus stop at Lucky Plaza. 

It also has enough parking for its clients. However, as always, traffic can build up during peak hours, so plan your visits accordingly.

Gynae MD is known for delivering natural childbirths. At its helm is Dr. Regina Zuzarte-Ng, a well-known obstetrician-gynaecologist.

She is a lifelong advocate for women’s health awareness and promotes natural childbirth based on her experience as a doctor and mother. 

Dr. Ng is also highly experienced in other procedures such as C-sections and instrumental vaginal delivery. Furthermore, she is also a registered colposcopist, which will prove helpful if a patient’s cervix needs further examination, including biopsies.

Other than maternal and prenatal care, the clinic also performs keyhole, abdominal, and pelvic floor surgery for clients suffering from pelvic organ prolapse from difficult childbirth or incontinence.

We also want to highlight that the clinic’s operating hours are relatively longer than other clinics.

However, we find Gynae MD a bit costly to go to. We spoke to some clients and they claimed that they were charged for some services like IV saline, which is usually free in other clinics.

In any case, Gynae MD is only a short 5-minute walk from the Block 239 bus stop, which is convenient. Just note that parking may be an issue since the location is being shared by other establishments. 

Dr. Chee Jing Jye, or Dr. JJ for short, is one of the leading figures in OB-GYN medical management in Singapore. 

She is also a registered colposcopist and is a member of the Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore. 

Dr. JJ is also accredited by the Fetal Medicine Foundation to perform Nuchal Translucency Scan for First Trimester Screening for Down Syndrome.

Her clinic offers a wide range of gynaecological and obstetric medical services. It is also known to provide the best first-trimester screening for Down syndrome, as well as cervical cancer screening and treatment.

What we really like about her clinic is that it offers the most affordable services on this list. The consultation fee is only $150, while other clinics charge upwards of $250.

The clinic is also very accessible. It’s only a 5-minute walk from the MRT Orchard station. 

Patients we’ve interviewed generally speak positively of Dr. JJ’s clinic. In fact, their only beef with the clinic seems to be related to the nurses and secretaries, who they describe as inattentive.

A few potential patients also mentioned that it can be difficult to get a response to enquiries. In fact, some of them ended up looking for another clinic instead. 

The O&G Care Clinic is a facility that provides clients with various fertility and gynecological treatments and surgeries to ensure that clients get not only accurate assessments but also exemplary care during and after treatment as well.

Headed and operated by Dr. Wee Horng Yen, clients can be sure that all treatments and evaluations done are from concrete and reliable evidence and studies from professional courses and extensive education as well.

Furthermore, we also like that clients can easily have access to their various archives of articles readily on their website which they can use as resources and additional information when it comes to the services and the field that they specialize in.

Note though that packages of their services and their corresponding rates aren’t readily available on their website hence, a consultation with them is needed beforehand.

Overall, with their team of professionals in the field, excellent array of surgeries and treatments offered, and quality facilities and products utilized, we highly recommend for interested clients check them out.
