Pediatric Surgery and Urology International is situated in Thomson Medical Center. It is just in front of the Thomson Center bus stop.

Unfortunately, it does not have a second branch and is unavailable between 1 pm to 2 on weekdays. Furthermore, it closes very early on Saturdays and is only open from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

It may not be the best destination for urgent cases. We suggest checking our other entries for those who require immediate medical attention.

Nevertheless, this clinic is well-known for its pediatric surgery and urology services. It offers services for conditions such as urinary incontinence, appendicitis, and urinary tract infection.

For its surgeries, it does endoscopy, circumcision, and cystoscopy, to name a few. Its comprehensive list is among the best in Singapore even though it is a much smaller operation than other clinics on this list.

We highly recommend this medical establishment for those who are seeking diverse options for pediatric surgery.

Moreover, its lead pediatric surgeon, Dr. Wong Zeng Hao, is accredited by Singapore’s Ministry of Health and has international experience in countries such as the United Kingdom.

Dr. Wong specializes in general surgery and has extensive experience operating on children and newborn babies. As a father, he extends his love and passion toward his work and patients, which allows him to connect with them during difficult endeavors.

Ardmore Orthopedic Clinic is found inside Mount Elizabeth Medical Center and is a 5-minute walk from the Lucky Plaza bus stop.

It has consistent operating hours from Monday to Saturday and also has 2 other branches in Farrer Park and Royal Square.

However, it closes early on Saturdays, which makes it not the best destination for those who prefer weekend appointments.

This clinic is led by two expert surgeons, Dr. Sean Ng and Dr. Chong Xue Ling. Both are accredited by the Ministry of Health and have international experience from Ireland.

Dr. Chong specializes in shoulder and elbow surgeries, and other orthopedic conditions. Meanwhile, Dr. Sean is knowledgeable in knee and foot dislocation ailments.

These treatments are geared toward orthopedic issues and the sustainability of each therapy. The clinic also has pain management services and physiotherapy to ensure the longevity of its results.

Having said that, if you require surgeries outside the scope of orthopedics, we recommend checking our other entries on this list.

The only downside we gathered from previous patients is that booking is quite difficult. Even though the logistics in that department are a bit weak, clients did love the doctors and staff for being friendly and making each visit pleasant.

HC Orthopedic Surgery is located inside the Elizabeth Tower. It is a 7-minute stroll from the Far East Plaza bus stop.

It has standard operating hours from Monday to Saturday and has a second branch in Parkway East.

However, it’s not the best establishment if you only have time for weekend appointments because it closes quite early on Saturdays.

Nevertheless, if your child has sustained a fracture, we highly recommend this clinic. The ailments treated by this medical establishment are arthritis, hip issues, frozen shoulders, tennis elbow, and other injuries.

HC is led by Dr. Henry Chan, one of the most renowned orthopedic and pediatric surgeons in Singapore.

Dr. Chan has extensive years of experience performing surgery for pediatric fractures, trauma, and also sports injuries.

The clients we interviewed particularly liked that this clinic accepts insurance from Parkway Health and other international providers like Bupa Health International to help with the expenditure.

They also like Dr. Henry’s efforts in explaining complicated injuries as well as the pros and cons of each treatment they can consider doing.

However, if you need pediatric surgery treatments outside sports-related injuries, then you should try checking our other entries on this list.

Kids Clinic is located inside the Core Clinic on E Coast Road and is just in front of the 112 Katong bus stop. Unfortunately, it has haphazard operating hours and is closed on Monday and Sunday.

It is also unavailable between 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Wednesdays, it is on break between 12:30 pm – 2 pm.

Be that as it may, it is available in multiple locations around Singapore. It has branches in Mount Alvernia, Tampines, Bishan, Toa Payoh, Punggol, and Novena.

We particularly don’t like this medical establishment’s messy operating hours. If you want a clinic with a better schedule, we suggest checking our other entries on this list.

However, there’s no doubt that Kid’s Clinic has one of the best pediatric surgeons on the island, Dr. Chua Xiuzhen. She has extensive experience treating children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers.

What separates this medical establishment from other clinics is that it offers plastic surgery for birthmarks, facial fractures, and craniofacial conditions.

Furthermore, this clinic has an in-house expert that specializes in a variety of pediatric conditions, like allergies, congenital diseases, infections, and respiratory problems.

Overall, the clients we interviewed liked the wide range of services offered and the welcoming environment of the clinic. The only complaint we heard is that many found it hard to reach it.

Some patients claimed to have called several times on different days and still, no one picked up the phone on the other line. This may be an issue for those who are in an emergency situation.

  • Just in front of the 112 Katong bus stop
  • Available in multiple locations around Singapore
  • Has one of the best pediatric surgeons in Singapore

Raffles Children’s Center is located inside Raffles Hospital. It is just beside the Bugis Station Exit B bus stop.

It’s available in 3 other locations in Holland Avenue, Waterway Point, and Tampines.

It has long and consistent operating hours from Monday to Saturday. Late weekend appointments are possible in this medical establishment, which enables individuals to easily plan their visits here.

This clinic is mainly known for treating abnormalities that grow inside the body of a baby or a toddler. It has a large team of pediatric surgeons with their own specializations.

Among these are tackling the abdomen, chest, and congenital abnormalities. Furthermore, the facility has a diverse list of day surgery options for infants to adolescent children.

Raffles Children’s Center also offers rehabilitation services for post-operation needs, which makes things easier for recovering patients.

When we talked to clients, they mentioned they loved how the doctors and staff knew how to properly deal with children, particularly during medical emergencies.

This makes stressful events such as surgeries a bit more comfortable for both the child and the parent.

However, they did not like that this clinic has very expensive rates. Nevertheless, it offers medical packages to cut some costs for check-ups and other services like baby vaccinations.
