SBCC Baby & Child Clinic is situated inside Rivervale Plaza shopping mall and is just a 3-minute stroll from the Kangkar Station Exit A bus stop.

This clinic is a well-known pediatric group that has been providing high-quality and comprehensive care to kids since 1980. SBCC doctors have been specially trained in a variety of specialties. 

This clinic offers a wide range of treatments for common acute illnesses, primary emergency care, and developmental assessments. 

However, what clients really like about this medical establishment is that it also offers teleconsultations and home visits for urgent cases. This enables individuals to receive necessary care immediately. 

The only negative feedback we gathered from the patients we talked to is that they waited a long time in the lobby before they could move forward with their appointment. 

In fact, some clients claimed to have waited around 2 hours before they started their session, which led to plenty of frustration since they scheduled their visit several days beforehand.

Kinder Clinic is found in Paragon Shopping Centre, which is a 2-minute walk from the Paragon Shopping Centre bus stop. 

It is open from Monday to Saturday, however, its business hours are much shorter than other establishments.

On the bright side, Kinder has other branches open in Gleneagles, Pandan Valley, Parkway Parade, Parkway East, Mount Alvernia, and Novena.

Its availability gets a big boost because it can be easily accessible wherever you live in Singapore. In fact, this medical establishment is known to be one of the largest children’s medical providers on the island.

Its team of doctors is over 20 and each one has clinical experience in common childcare cases from nutrition, physiotherapy, and endocrinology to immunology and even dermatology.

This enables Kinder Clinic to provide diverse treatments that range from newborn intensive care to general pediatrics. Whether it be allergies, infectious diseases, or respiratory diseases, there’s a professional who’s ready to help.

Clients have also commented on the welcoming environment of this establishment. The furniture is colorful and there are plenty of toys to make children comfortable whenever they visit.

However, former patients have mentioned that the rates are rather expensive and that while the doctors are really good at working with children, the receptionists are rude.

For instance, some clients have claimed to be ignored by the staff when they were inquiring at the front desk — they were busy chatting amongst themselves.

Thomson Medical Center is located along Thomson Road and is just a 5-minute walk from the Opp Old Police Academy bus stop. 

It does not have a second branch dedicated to children’s medical care but it’s open 24 hours, 7 days a week! This makes it an ideal destination for emergencies and conditions that require immediate medical attention.

Thomson Medical is the largest private women’s and children’s primary care provider with over 40 years of experience. It has a comprehensive network of specialists around Singapore. 

Besides general pediatric care services, this clinic has medical expertise in specialist dermatology, musculoskeletal and sports medicine, gynecological oncology, breast cancer, fertility, and dentistry.

This makes Thomson Medical a good choice for both mothers and children. Its primary focus on women’s health and diverse pediatric care gives it the edge against other clinics on this list.

What clients like most about this medical establishment are its children’s counseling services, which help children and families manage emotional and behavioral issues that interfere with early learning development and overall well-being.

The only complaint we received from individuals is the poor billing management, which usually arrives late. Because of this, clients waited in the clinic longer than necessary, which many found to be physically draining.

Since Thomson Medical is a private clinic, its rates are more pricey than our other entries on this list. If budget is a priority, we suggest looking into our other entries.

The Children’s Eye & ENT Center is situated inside the Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. It is only a 5-minute walk from the Bef Novena Station Exit B bus stop.

Unfortunately, it does not have a second branch and it closes quite early on Saturdays. If you need immediate attention, we highly suggest checking our other entries on this list.

Children’s Eye & ENT specializes in diagnosing and solving eye, ear, nose, and throat conditions. If your child is dealing with children’s allergies, hearing problems, snoring, or amblyopia, we recommend going here.

This clinic is led by Dr. Dawn Teo and Dr. Zena Lim who are not only experienced in providing the best healthcare services but are also committed to making your child feel safe and comfortable on every visit. 

The individuals we interviewed also love the staff, who are as compassionate and friendly as Dr. Dawn and Dr. Zena. The clients who have sensitive children have  commented that their kids are less anxious whenever they visit the clinic.

Moreover, Children’s Eye & ENT is accredited by MediSave and licensed under MSF’s Baby Bonus Scheme, which alleviates a lot of financial burdens.

The only downside we gathered from past clients is that this clinic rescheduled appointments at the worst times possible.

For instance, a parent who made a check-up schedule two weeks in advance was only notified a day before. Nevertheless, this clinic is the ideal destination for children who dread seeing the doctor.

Dr. Anita Menon is located in E Coast Road, which is just beside the Bef Siglap Road bus stop. Sadly, it does not have a second branch open and is unavailable between 11:30 am to 2 pm on weekdays — quite longer than most medical establishments.

Dr. Anita Kids Clinic has one of the most recommended and best pediatricians in Singapore and has been providing pediatric care since 2007.

Dr. Anita trained and worked internationally in the United Kingdom and learned a wide range of medical treatments for children, such as childhood illnesses, infectious diseases, newborn examinations, and sports medical examinations, to name a few. 

The patients we interviewed are also very happy with Dr. Anita’s sharp intellect in assessing children during appointments. 

She is noted to be very knowledgeable in diagnosing underlying problems and compassionate when communicating illnesses, which helps keep the child and parent at ease and focused on what the best next course of action is.

Dr. Anita’s reassuring attitude is what makes every visit worthwhile. However, some individuals find booking appointments to be difficult.

This is probably because the clinic is rather small compared to our other entries on this list. Be that as it may, Dr. Anita has plenty of loyal patients around Singapore.
