How We Picked
We looked into each clinic’s years of experience and credentials to assess how well they can deliver effective and safe HIFU procedures.
We checked how well each HIFU device solves common skin issues as well as if there are downsides experienced during or after the procedure.
We are looking into how diverse and updated each clinic’s HIFU treatments are to determine if they can address the different needs and skin conditions of each customer.
We checked each clinic’s location, number of branches, as well as their operating hours.

The Clifford Clinic is found in Clifford Center. We used the Raffles Place MRT to go here, which made it very accessible.
Furthermore, it is open from Monday to Saturday with extended operating hours. However, it only has one branch open in the Central Business District.
The Clifford Clinic has over 40 years of experience in cosmetic and beauty procedures.
In fact, it has one of the most diverse treatments on this list, delivering both invasive as well as non-invasive services.
We really like its HIFU Sygmalift, it’s one of the newest treatments for non-surgical facelifts with zero downtime.
It is also an effective procedure for those who have drooping cheeks or crow’s feet. This treatment promises total facial rejuvenation while also reducing age-related lines on the face.
The only thing we didn’t like is that it takes about an hour to complete the session. If you are managing a tight daily schedule, you might need to dedicate more time if you plan to try the HIFU Sygmalift.
Nevertheless, the painless procedure with no downtime is quite tempting, especially for those who are not big fans of invasive treatments.
This is ideal for all types of skin! However, if you already have a severe case of aged skin, you may need more sessions to get a desirable result.
For more serious conditions, you may need a more intense procedure to totally solve your skin-related woes.
2. V Medical Aesthetics & Laser Clinic
Services: HIFU, pico laser, facelift, skin boosters, tattoo removal, and more
Address: 360 Orchard Rd, #04-06 International Building, Singapore 238869
Contact Details: +65 9860 9990
Monday – Saturday: 10:30 am – 8:30 pm

V Medical Aesthetics & Laser Clinic is located in the Royal Square Novena, which is just beside the Royal Thai Embassy bus stop.
It also has branches in Orchard, Somerset, Tanjong Pagar, Tampines, Woodlands, and Jurong, making it very accessible to anyone in Singapore.
This medical establishment has a positive reputation for delivering safe and effective aesthetic treatments. V Medical has a large team of 14 authorized and experienced specialists.
Its HIFU treatment is the standard variety. However, it’s one of its bestsellers, especially for those seeking a V-shaped face.
It’s also used for those concerns such as dark eye circles, sagging skin, wrinkles, and neck fat, to name a few.
The negative side effects such as redness and swelling are minimal but not completely avoided. Unlike more advanced procedures, you might expect some downsides here and there.
With that said, it may not be the best option for those who have highly sensitive skin. If you are one of those, we recommend seeing our other entries on this list!
Be that as it may, due to its stronger intensity, it is a more effective solution to more severe conditions.
Overall, V Medical’s HIFU solution is not the most comfortable but can target and solve tougher skin ailments.
3. Edwin Lim Medical Aesthetic Clinic
Services: HIFU, pico laser, acne laser, carbon laser peel, fat freezing, and more
Address: #02-12/13 Changi City Point, 5 Changi Business Park Central 1, Singapore 486038
Contact Details: +65 6904 2218

Saturday: 11 am – 6 pm

Edwin Lim Medical Aesthetic is situated in Changi City Point, which is a 3-minute walk from the Expo Station Exit E bus stop.
It is open from Monday to Saturday with long operating hours and has a second branch in Lucky Plaza. However, it is closed on Tuesdays.
Dr. Edwin Lim is the clinic’s founder and licensed doctor that provides excellent results. He is knowledgeable in advanced methods and uses the most modern tools in his medical establishment.
He uses the Ultraformer 3, a 3rd generation HIFU device that has more power, improved safety, and of course, clinically proven results.
Most machines only have 3 levels of depth while this has 4. Therefore being able to precisely target areas on the skin with better control of the intensity of the laser.
This procedure is ideal for those who want to target their cheeks, eyebrows, neck, jaw, and forehead. This nimble device can rejuvenate more areas on the face.
However, while relatively painless, you may experience some mild discomfort in areas that are closer to the bones. Dr. Edwin will apply a numbing cream to alleviate some aches and pains you may feel during the procedure.
Another thing we disliked is the rather long sessions for this HIFU treatment. You can expect to be in the clinic anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes.
4. Lux Medical Aesthetic Clinic
Services: HIFU, acne scar removal, fat freeze, pore tightening, calf reduction, and more
Address: 2 Handy Rd, #02-09 The Cathay, Singapore
Contact Details: +65 6815 9922
Monday – Friday: 10:30 am – 8 pm
Saturday: 10:30 am – 4 pm
|Google Reviews Score||4.7/5|
|Facebook Reviews Score||5/5|
Lux Medical Aesthetic Clinic is situated inside The Cathay shopping mall and is only a 2-minute walk from the YMCA bus stop.
However, it only has one branch open. Those who live outside the Novena area may have a hard time going here.
The clinic’s director, Dr. Kellyn Shiau, is authorized by Singapore’s Ministry of Health and is also a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. She specializes in lasers and dermal fillers, to mention a few.
Dr. Kelly uses a signature HIFU device that is very similar to the Ultraformer 3. Like the aforementioned machine, it is a nimble tool that is able to target multiple areas of the face.
The only difference is that this has fewer downsides and discomforts during the procedure, making it a better candidate for a wider set of clients. The duration of the sessions is relatively short too, about 30 to 45 minutes.
This advanced HIFU treatment is able to solve the usual skin-related issues and is an ideal choice for those who wish to have a slimmer looking face.
However, to get the best results you may need several sessions, which may be a costly endeavor down the road. Nevertheless, it’s still a great choice, especially for newbies.
5. 8 Medical Aesthetic Clinic
Services: HIFU, acne removal, pico laser, wrinkle removal, fat freezing, and more
Address: Tampines Plaza 2, Tampines Central 1, #03-01 5, Singapore
Contact Details: +65 3157 5947
Monday, Tuesday: 12:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Wednesday – Friday: 11:30 am – 8:30 pm
Saturday: 11:30 am – 6:30 pm
|Google Reviews Score||4.5/5|
8 Medical Aesthetic Clinic is situated outside the Tampines Plaza office building and is a 4-minute stroll from the Opp Our Tampines Hub bus stop. It’s also available in other locations such as Somerset, Dhoby Ghaut, and Orchard.
This clinic has long operating hours from Monday to Saturday. However, its weekday opening schedule is a bit haphazard.
On the bright side, it’s only a 15-minute taxi ride from Changi Airport, which makes it an ideal destination for foreign clients.
8 Medical is led by 3 specialists who are all experienced in aesthetic and cosmetic procedures from Botox, thread lifts, and even surgery.
This clinic uses a special kind of HIFU device that has similarities with the 2nd and 3rd generation machines. However, it is more effective in tightening the skin with less discomfort.
It is able to do more lifting because it reaches a greater depth and penetrates even the toughest skin. This procedure is ideal for those who have plenty of fat on their faces, particularly the cheeks, chin, or eyebags.
Because of the increased power, it is able to achieve a desirable effect even in the first session. We also like that it has very minimal downsides!
However, due to the intensity, it may not be ideal for those who have extra sensitive skin. If you require a more mild procedure, you can try your luck with our other entries on this list.
Be that as it may, we believe this is a great treatment that can cover most, if not all kinds of skin-related issues for the face and neck!
