Dr. Dennis Chua’s Clinic is found at Mount Elizabeth Orchard Medical Center, which is a 5-minute walk from the Lucky Plaza bus stop. It has standard operating hours but closes quite early on Saturdays.

It also does not have a second location, which may be an issue for those who live outside the Orchard area since traffic is usually heavy here.

Dr. Dennis Chua is an otolaryngologist that specializes in reconstructive surgery and facial plastics. He is accredited by the Medical Council and the Ministry of Health of Singapore.

He is also a member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburg, Scotland. Dr. Dennis has over 15 years of experience, which makes him a great candidate if you are interested in getting a nose job.

The functional septorhinoplasty procedure can be performed opened or closed. The latter is most preferred by clients since it’s a scarless method, which results in a more appealing look.

This procedure can help improve the overall function and appearance of the client’s nose by strengthening the nasal tip and the nasal valves, which enhances airflow.

The patients we interviewed liked Dr. Dennis’ customer service. He makes it a point to provide assurance that they are in good hands by being engaged in talks and answering any question that pops up.

However, there are some who didn’t like the clinic’s prices — which were not transparent. This happens during check-ups or assessments.

For instance, you will be asked if you want to get your ears cleaned or your nose checked without knowing it’s an additional service on top of your original one.

We believe these things are done with the best intentions to make sure everything is okay before a nose job. Nevertheless, it will only benefit both parties if it’s clear from the get-go that these are additional charges.

Pros

  • 5-minute walk from the Lucky Plaza bus stop
  • Accredited by the Medical Council and the Ministry of Health of Singapore
  • 15 years of experience
  • Member of the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburg
  • Specializes in reconstructive surgery and facial plastics
  • Scarless look is possible
  • Improves nose functionality
  • Provides assurance by being engaged in consultations

Cons

  • Not transparent with additional services
  • Closes very early on Saturdays
  • Only available in one location

Hong Plastic Surgery is located inside Mount Alvernia Hospital and is just a 5-minute walk from the Mount Alvernia Hospital bus stop. However, it does not have a second branch open in Singapore.

This clinic is open from Monday to Friday with fairly long operating hours. Sadly, it is unavailable between 1 pm and 2 pm on weekdays.

Dr. Hong Soo Wan is this establishment’s resident surgeon. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, Hokkien, and Malay, which helps him provide a better customer experience for a larger set of individuals in Singapore.

He provides augmentation rhinoplasty services and this is usually done by implanting a silicone material with either straight or L-shaped implants.

It’s inserted over the dorsum of the nose to raise the height. The refinement in the peak and length will enhance the overall facial profile.

The customer will also have a choice to either get an open or closed rhinoplasty. However, many prefer the latter since it looks more natural.

The only downside we gathered from clients is that this clinic’s team is rather small. Consequently, the queues are much longer and booking sessions may be challenging.

If you need an immediate procedure, you can try your luck with our other entries on this list.

Pros

  • Knowledgeable and skilled professional team
  • Smooth and customer-centered process and treatments
  • Friendly and accommodating staff

Cons

  • Slight complaints on appointment handling

Sweng Plastic Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery is located in Farrer Park, which is only a 2-minute walk from the Farrer Park Station Exit A bus stop.

It’s open from Monday to Saturday but it closes a bit early on Saturdays. However, it has a second branch in Gleneagles Medical Center.

This clinic is accredited by Singapore’s Ministry of Health, which makes it a well-known name for aesthetic and plastic surgery procedures.

We think Sweg’s nose job service is quite unique — it’s called Korean-style Rhinoplasty.

This method is specifically designed for Asian noses. It is able to improve the tip projection, dorsal height, and alar width, which results in a better and more natural appearance.

When we talked to clients, they mentioned how this procedure includes an assessment prior to the operation wherein they take into account the individual’s face to better create a balanced look.

The only downside we gathered is that the bruising is a bit more significant. However, it usually subsides within 14 days.

This is something to keep in mind if you are expecting to join any gatherings in the near future.

All things considered, this is the best procedure for those who truly want to change their appearance. The symmetrical end result is most desirable and visually appealing for Asian faces.

There’s also a good post-operation program where the doctors will evaluate if things have healed up properly and assess if the nose is structurally sound.

This should remove any worries from individuals, which is a huge plus on our books since these procedures cause a lot of anxiety.

Pros

  • 2-minute walk from the Farrer Park Station Exit A bus stop
  • Has a second branch in Gleneagles Medical Center
  • Relatively long weekday operating hours
  • Accredited by the Ministry of Health
  • Ideal for Asian noses
  • Symmetrical end result
  • Excellent pre and postoperative assessments

Cons

  • Relatively longer downtime
  • Closes early on Saturdays

The SW1 Clinic can be seen inside the Paragon Shopping Center and is a 5-minute walk from the Opp Mandarin Orchard bus stop.

However, if you live outside the Central Business District, you may have to travel longer because it does not have other branches around the island.

It has the longest operating hours on this list, which makes it very accessible and easy to make bookings and appointments.

We highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is usually busy during the week!

This medical establishment is rather new, but it swiftly rose to prominence because of its wide range of treatments.

SW1 offers the Hybrid Rhinoplasty, which is its own take on an Asian-specific nose job.

We tend to have a depressed nasal bridge and a short columella. As a result, the snout tips appear flatter.

In Hybrid Rhinoplasty, the client’s ear cartilage is used to create a more lovely and natural-looking tip. The nose bridge is also gently enhanced with the use of a customized implant to elevate and define the total structure.

SW1 can also adjust the definitions depending on the gender of the individual, which will complement their entire facial structure.

The feedback about the doctors was totally positive. Many have mentioned that they were provided with plenty of information about the procedure in a friendly tone.

However, they did complain about their bad experiences with the clinic staff that appeared to be irritated when asked questions.

Pros

  • 5-minute walk from the Opp Mandarin Orchard bus stop
  • Very long operating hours
  • Has a unique rhinoplasty procedure
  • Results in a natural-looking nose
  • Ideal for Asians
  • Complements the facial structure of the gender
  • Doctors are friendly and informative

Cons

  • Only available in one location
  • Staff is easily irritated when being asked questions

Allure Plastic Surgery is found inside ION Orchard. It is only a 5-minute walk from the Opp Orchard Station bus stop.

Unfortunately, it does not have other clinics around the island but it’s open significantly longer on Fridays for those who are usually busy during the week.

This medical establishment is led by Dr. Samuel Ho whose expertise and knowledge got him a gold medal from the College of Surgeons in 2014.

His rhinoplasty procedure is ideal for those who have imbalanced or crooked noses.

For individuals with a deviated septum, Dr. Samuel will recommend a septoplasty, where the wall in the middle of the nose is straightened and put back into alignment.

Other than looking better, this procedure greatly helps out the nose’s functionality. Crooked noses are more likely to affect one’s breathing.

This leads to plenty of other issues down the line if left untreated such as shortness of breath or occasional dizziness or migraines.

Overall, Allure’s procedure hits all the boxes both in functionality and aesthetics. Not only will your nose look more pleasing, but it will work better too.

Perhaps the only downside of this procedure is that it does not have the range of symmetrical capacity, unlike other nose jobs. This is like a jack-of-all-trades — it does not truly specialize in one specific aspect.

Furthermore, clients liked the thorough consultations with Dr. Samuel. He ensures they are informed about the treatment, the risks associated, and as well as other details that will ease their worries.

The clinic’s team was also commended for being very helpful, which made appointments and procedures go very smoothly!

Pros

  • 5-minute walk from the Opp Orchard Station bus stop
  • Long operating hours
  • A gold medal recipient from the College of Surgeons
  • Smooth procedure
  • In-depth consultations
  • Ideal for crooked noses
  • Improves overall functionality
  • Professional team

Cons

  • Only available in one location
  • Not idea for those who wish to have the most symmetrical nose job
