This medical establishment is known for its obstetrics and provides quality care from prenatal to post-pregnancy. The patients we talked to liked Dr. Wendy’s passion and care in delivering aid for their emergency cases. 

For example, Dr. Wendy accelerated a patient’s diagnosis so that the individual could immediately start her vaginoplasty treatment. 

Having said that, this clinic is proficient in vaginoplasty procedures. It is well-equipped with modern lasers that stimulate new collagen to ease vaginal atrophy and other conditions.

The only downside we gathered from patients is that the staff is unorganized. For instance, during visits, they get some basic details wrong, such as the client’s name and condition.

Moreover, a client also claimed the staff can be moody. For example, they scowled at her for asking about her test results, which shouldn’t be a problem in other establishments.

We understand that the clinic is quite busy and is a bit undermanned, but we believe double-checking the client’s information doesn’t take that much effort. Doing so would only make things easier for everyone.

Dr. J J Chee Obstetrics & Female Gynecology is situated inside Mount Elizabeth Medical Center. It’s only a 5-minute walk from the MRT Orchard station.

Sadly, this establishment is only available in one location. 

Dr. Chee Jing Jye, better known as Dr. JJ, is one of the leading individuals in women’s healthcare on the island. 

Besides being a gynecologist and obstetrician, she is also a registered colposcopist and a member of the Society for Colposcopy & Cervical Pathology of Singapore. 

Dr. JJ is also accredited by the Fetal Medicine Foundation to perform Nuchal Translucency Scan for First Trimester Screening for Down Syndrome.

Her clinic offers a wide range of gynecological and obstetric medical services. It is also known to provide the best first-trimester diagnosis for down syndrome and cervical cancer screening and treatment.

What we like about this clinic is that it offers the most affordable services on this list. To start, consultation fees are only $150, while other establishments charge in the range of $250.

The clients we talked to typically spoke positively of Dr. J J Chee Obstetrics. However, the sentiments are not the same about the clinic’s nurses and receptionists, who were defined as absentminded.

A few individuals also mentioned that it can be difficult to get a response to inquiries. Sadly, some of them ended up looking for another clinic instead.

Dr. Chia Yee Tien is located inside Mount Elizabeth Hospital and is only a quick 5-minute walk from the Lucky Plaza bus stop. 

It does not have a second branch, which may be an issue for those who live outside the Orchard area since traffic can build up during peak hours, so plan your visits accordingly.

With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Chia Yee Tien is one of the island’s most respected and renowned women’s healthcare providers. She is also a well-known medical educator at the National University of Singapore.

Dr. Chia is fluent in Mandarin, English, Cantonese, Bahasa Melayu, and Bahasa Indonesia, which allows her to treat a wide variety of women in the country.

The clinic specializes in maternal-fetal medicine and does a remarkable job at handling complicated and high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Chia is able to perform essential services for these cases like colposcopy, open gynecological surgery, and laparoscopy.

The clients we interviewed have nothing but compliments for Dr. Chia, but the same cannot be said about the nurses and front desk staff. 

Previous patients claim that they can be quite snarky when replying to inquiries, which is quite frustrating.

Nevertheless, we believe this issue can be rectified quickly with proper staff training and screening. 

There are also clients who claimed to have problems contacting the clinic’s telephone line because no one was picking up the phone.

GynaeMD Women’s Clinic can be located at 321 Clementi and is only a 4-minute walk from the Block 455 bus stop. It has a second branch in Orchard but is unavailable between 1 pm to 2 pm.

This medical establishment is known for delivering natural childbirths. Its lead specialist, Dr. Regina Zuzarte-Ng, is a well-known obstetrician and gynecologist.

Dr. Regina is a lifelong advocate for women’s health and promotes natural childbirth based on her experience as a mother and a professional doctor. 

She is also highly knowledgeable in other procedures, such as C-sections and instrumental vaginal delivery. 

Moreover, she is also a registered colposcopist, which will prove helpful if a patient’s cervix needs further examination. 

Apart from maternal and prenatal care, the clinic also delivers abdominal and pelvic floor surgery for women suffering from pelvic organ prolapse from difficult childbirth or incontinence.

We also want to highlight that the clinic’s operating hours are relatively longer than other clinics.

However, many have mentioned that the rates are quite steep. We spoke to some clients and they claimed that they were charged for some services like IV saline, which is usually free in other medical establishments.

Kierauniv International is located on Irrawaddy Road, which is a 6-minute walk from the Bef Novena Station Exit B bus stop. Take note, this medical establishment is unavailable between 12 pm to 1:30 pm on weekdays.

This clinic is headed by Dr. Dharshini, a well-renowned women’s medical expert and gynecologist in Singapore. 

She has extensive experience in both natural childbirth and cesarean sections. Furthermore, she is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in the United Kingdom. 

This clinic offers a wide array of women’s care services for teen care, pregnancy, and fertility. 

We like that it offers a focused service for teenagers, keeping in mind the challenges that can often arise with the inevitable hormonal changes that come with puberty.

Moreover, it has an open-door policy where young clients can email their problems to the clinic and get a reply within 24 hours.

Kierauniv International’s services tackle the most common issues such as dysmenorrhea, menorrhagia, and irregular menstrual cycles, to name a few. It even handles cases of aging women, like menopause. 

We like that its comprehensive fertility services include a detailed history briefing as well as a physical exam so that clients get the specific help they need. To treat infertility, it also performs intrauterine insemination.

The clinic is equipped with the latest medical tools and applies modern surgical protocols to keep clients as comfortable as possible. 

However, some clients we talked to claimed that the clinic’s receptionist could do better at accommodating patient inquiries.

One patient had an issue claiming her medical insurance and was met with one-liner replies by the receptionist with no further details about the concern.
