The 2 Harry Potter Cafes in Singapore That Bring the Wizarding World to Life
I’ve been a Harry Potter fan for as long as I can remember. I grew up reading the books, watching the movies right after, and now I rewatch them like comfort food.
One Halloween (okay, maybe two), I even dressed up as a proud Hufflepuff—robe, scarf, wand, and all. So when I found out that Singapore had a few Harry Potter-themed cafés, I was honestly way too excited.
I didn’t need a Time-Turner to make plans—I cleared my weekend immediately. From enchanted drinks and spell-inspired dishes to interiors that make you feel like you’ve just walked into Diagon Alley, these cafés are way more than basic fan service.
You don’t need to be a wizard to enjoy the magic, but if you’ve ever memorized the spells or dreamed of sitting in the Great Hall, this is for you. Here are some spots in Singapore that every Potterhead needs to visit.

Must-Order: 3-Broomsticks Flaming Chicken
Step inside Platform 1094 and it’ll feel like you’ve hopped off Serangoon Road and into Hogwarts.
The space isn’t massive, but it’s filled with spellbinding decor, just like flickering chandeliers, faux fireplace mantels, Hogwarts-style robes, and bookshelves that double as photo ops.
What I especially love are the theatrics. There’s smoke swirling from dry ice and even fire involved—especially if you order their best-selling 3-Broomsticks Flaming Chicken, which is dramatically torched right at your table.
Drinks are just as whimsical, with names like Sorcerer Blood and Goblet of Fire, and some come with “potion mixing” rituals that make the whole table light up (literally and figuratively).
Adding to all that flair is the staff, who are just as much a part of the performance. They’re playful and often step in to mix drinks or fire up dishes.
However, the portions are tinier than expected, especially considering the price of the meals.
Pro Tip: You should consider making a reservation in advance since it could get really crowded during peak hours. |

Must-Order: Phoenix Fire
Hidden in Chinatown, The Wizard’s Brew is a newer dessert bar and café that feels like a secret wizard tavern.
The area has a moody, enchanted vibe—dim lighting, wooden chairs, floating notes drifting above your head, and rows of potion-like glass tubes that make it feel straight out of a spellbook.
The drinks are just as theatrical. The Phoenix Fire cocktail—made with rum, orange juice, lime juice, and whiskey—comes with flames and a backstory about rekindling the spark of life.
As for the food, I got to scoop strawberry shortcake from a cracked “egg” with a Mandrake-shaped chocolate ganache. It was so creative, I actually didn’t want to eat it at first.
Because of all this, it’s understandable why prices are on the higher side.
Pro Tip: For the full experience, don’t skip the wizard cloaks and wands provided by the café—they’re perfect for photos and really help you get into character. |
