The 5 Best Hotels With Pools in Singapore

How We Picked

Amenities:

We examined the different amenities each hotel offers. A good set of amenities should elevate the relaxing experience for customers.

Cost:

We also checked the rates of each hotel. A higher score means a better value for money.

Size:

We looked for hotels with decently-sized pools. Hotels can get crowded but it won’t be much of a problem if the pools are big and can fit many people.

Customer service:

We looked for hotels that have excellent customer service. We go to hotels to relax and unwind so good customer service that doesn’t stress its customers out is essential.

Cons

  • A bit small

Lloyd’s Inn is a small-scale hotel and resort located on Lloyd Road. It’s known for its beautiful gardens and serene setting, as well as its impressive semi-indoor pools.

This establishment is a haven for nature lovers because of its beautiful tropical gardens and scenic outdoor pool.

The hotel has an outdoor pantry and veranda, where guests can dine and enjoy the view over the gardens. There’s also a dipping pool for guests who want to relax in the water but don’t want to drench themselves fully.

The pool area is architecturally impressive with its semi-indoor design and the natural lighting and the green surroundings bring a refreshing feeling to the place.

We love the fact that this resort is very cyclist-friendly. It’s close to major bike routes and the hotel’s proximity to the area’s other attractions makes it a great spot to spend time just exploring the area.

The customer service here is also very good. We were given a lot of information on the best things to do in the area as well as tips on how to get around during our stay.

A potential drawback of this place is its rather small size compared to other hotels. However, because of the privacy and relaxing atmosphere it offers, we still highly recommend it.

Pros

  • Impressive amenities
  • Free-roaming peacocks
  • Nature-focused
  • Amazing pool area
  • Has a mansion and a few villas
  • Great for events

Cons

  • Expensive

If you’re looking to get in touch with nature and relax in some of the best pools around, a great option is Bussorah Street’s Amara Sanctuary. The stunning property is surrounded by greenery and is one of the most popular hotels in the city.

Amara is described as a luxury resort because of its 140 rooms and suites. It also has an area full of villas and a mansion that can be visited and rented by guests who can afford it.

We love that the hotel is close to the city’s shopping areas. This means that you can explore Singapore and shop around while still being close enough to your room.

It’s a great option for tourists and newcomers to the city as well. While the resort is located in a quiet part of the city, it is still close to lots of tourist attractions like the central business district.

The pool area is as beautiful as the rest of the hotel. It’s huge and surrounded by trees and gardens that make it even more relaxing.

There are even free-roaming peacocks on the property! Nature is the overall selling point of this establishment.

The only drawback of this hotel is the fact that it’s expensive. If you’re willing to spend a lot, this is one of the best places in Singapore to spend a vacation.

Pros

  • Free parking
  • Free breakfast for some rooms
  • Wi-fi at the lobby
  • Overlooks the city
  • Huge hotel
  • Multiple minibars
  • Infinity pool
  • Impressive amenities

Cons

  • Expensive

Marina Bay Sands is famous for its rooftop infinity pool. The hotel’s view is unbeatable and the pool itself is divine.

The pool’s size is quite impressive, with a capacity of more than 200 people. It’s cleaned regularly and especially looks good at night when all the lights come on.

At night, there’s a club area with a full-service bar and a DJ that plays different tunes. It’s a great place to meet other guests and check out the sights around the hotel’s proximity.

There are minibars near the pool and rooms that are always stocked with snacks and beverages. The staff is always happy to help guests and take orders when customers want to use the pool.

We love how the hotel overlooks the Singapore skyline and has a pretty view of the Marina Bay area as well.

The reception area is quite spacious and has a very modern feel to it. It has free wi-fi and the hotel itself offers free parking for its guests.

The only drawback of this place is its pricing. We found the rooms quite pricey compared to other hotels in the area, but many will agree that the price is worth it because of the infinity pool, the views, and the location.

The gigantic pool has breathtaking views of the island and is perfect for swimming, lounging, or sunbathing. It’s also surrounded by greenery and gives clients the feeling of having a private oasis to themselves.

One of the best suites of this hotel is the Marvelous Suite, which provides a breathtaking view of the city and the island. Guests will feel like they’re in paradise when staying in this gorgeous suite.

Another great thing about this establishment is its Away Spa, which is a rejuvenating retreat where you can enjoy treatments and relax by the pool or beach. Yoga classes are also available here for those who want to stay fit while relaxing.

This hotel’s island-style aesthetic is reflected in its restaurants and bars which offer delicious Asian and Western cuisine. There is also a 24-hour fitness center that has state-of-the-art equipment and an aerobics studio.

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa is a luxury hotel located on Sentosa Island, just a short distance from the beach. It offers an impressive pool area, its own restaurant and spa, and easy access to nearby tourist attractions.

We love the cliff-top view that this establishment offers. Plus, the outdoor pool is massive—perfect for catching some rays.

The pools at this place are semi-indoors so if you don’t want too much sun, you can escape to the pool house area which is air-conditioned and has impressive amenities.

For corporate events, Sofitel also has its conference center with state-of-the-art facilities. If you’re looking for something a bit more intimate, you can book a suite or a private villa on-site.

Another impressive aspect of this hotel is its buffet restaurant. Celebrations and banquets are held here on a regular basis so you’ll get the chance to sample an array of local and international cuisines during your stay.

Aside from that, there’s also a nice beach club located next to the pool where you can enjoy a drink or two while soaking up the sun.

The only drawback of this place is its pricing. Sofitel is known for its luxury hotels, so it’s no surprise that this spot doesn’t come cheap.
