5 Best SAT Prep Centres in Singapore That’ll Help You Outsmart the Test

Pricing: We looked for clear and reasonable pricing across group classes, private tutoring, and online options. Providers that offer flexible packages, free trials, or progress assessments were rated more favourably. Curriculum & Resources: We evaluated whether the programmes are tailored to the latest SAT format, including digital test prep. Centres offering structured study plans, full-length mock exams, and up-to-date materials were given priority. Teaching Approach:
We considered centres that balance strategy with skill-building, focusing not just on shortcuts, but also on critical thinking, timing, and test endurance. Centres offering personalised feedback and small class sizes were preferred. Tutor Credentials:
We prioritised prep centres with tutors who have strong academic backgrounds, high SAT scores themselves, and experience teaching test-specific strategies. Centres that offer consistent tutor assignments for continuity scored higher.

I remember back in high school when I was stressing about getting into college. I was involved in school organisations and had decent grades, but the SATs had me really worried.

I tried studying on my own at first, but without a proper structure, I got lost on what to focus on.

When I found out my friends were enrolled in SAT prep centres, I finally gave in and joined one myself, and it made a world of difference.

Having a structured plan, guided lessons, and practice tests meant I could actually track my progress. When exam day came, I sped through the SATs with confidence and even had time to double-check my answers.

If you’re feeling stressed about college entrance tests like I was, here’s a list of SAT prep centres in Singapore that can help you study smarter, not harder.

The Princeton Review Singapore is part of a U.S. education company that’s been around for over 40 years and now operates in more than 20 countries.

One thing I really appreciate is that they don’t treat SAT prep as one-size-fits-all. Students can choose from group classes, online and self-paced courses, or private tutoring for extra one-on-one support.

Their programmes are structured around full-length mock tests and up-to-date study materials.

The lessons themselves come with instructors who break down challenging math problems and reading strategies into actionable steps that students can apply under time pressure.

They’re quite knowledgeable since they have experience as subject specialists and even some U.S.-certified SAT instructors.

As for the cost, they offer flexible packages across different tiers, with private tutoring at the higher end. Though a lot of the parents we spoke to suggest getting a slot as early as possible, since they run out quickly.

Pros

  • Flexible class options
  • Full-length mock tests
  • Updated study materials
  • Knowledgeable and certified teachers
  • Flexible pricing with packages available

Cons

  • Slots fill up quickly

It was really fun, interactive, and enjoyable.

Being able to be a student here with Dr Kevin was one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve ever had as a student. It was really fun, interactive, and enjoyable. The structure of the sessions was well prepared and thought out, as well as learnable.

Their practice tests are super helpful for getting used to the real deal.

The Princeton Review ACT prep courses are conducted by experienced & US-certified teachers, who break down those tricky test concepts into easy-to-understand bits. Plus, their practice tests are said to be super helpful for getting used to the real deal.

Established in 1999, Manhattan Review has grown into a multinational education firm with a presence across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

In Singapore, they cover everything from SAT and ACT to GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and even TOEFL, alongside admissions consulting and career coaching.

A key differentiator is their tutors. Classes are led by 99th-percentile scorers and graduates from Ivy League and other elite schools, which really adds weight to the guidance students receive.

The sessions themselves are small, structured, and designed to focus on conceptual understanding instead of relying on quick tricks.

I’ve heard from students on how supportive and flexible the tutors are, praising the personalised study plans and detailed feedback that help them track progress effectively.

On the flip side, they’ve raised their prices, and availability has become scarce due to high demand.

Pros

  • Multinational presence
  • Covers a wide variety of services
  • Qualified staff
  • Small, structured class
  • Personalised study plans
  • Supportive and flexible tutors

Cons

  • Costly
  • Limited availability

Provides a large suite of resources and practice materials.

I had a great experience studying for the GMAT with Manhattan Review. My instructor, Lindsay, was not only professional but also easy to work with. He helped me identify my weaknesses, and we would work on them together. Additionally, Manhattan Review provides a large suite of resources and practice materials that accurately reflect the GMAT test. I would definitely highly recommend both Manhattan Review and Lindsay!

Pushed me to work on problems that I wouldn’t have done if I were working by myself.

I would definitely recommend working with William for the SAT prep. He helped increase my score by about 300 points. He pushed me to work on problems that I wouldn’t have done if I were working by myself. He also significantly helped me with my SAT essay, which has given me a big boost. The flexibility of the hours was helpful as well. Thanks for all the help, William!

Founded by Ivy League graduates, IvyPrep’s mission is to guide students through overseas admissions.

Plenty of high schoolers mention enrolling with them because they’re especially strong in U.S. and U.K. pathways, guiding students through overseas admissions.

They combine test prep with admissions consulting, so it makes sense that their service is a bit pricey given the focus on top foreign schools.

Beyond SAT and ACT prep, they also cover BMAT, UCAT, and TSA, and provide tools like a mini SAT diagnostic and admissions strengths test to help students understand where they stand.

From talking with the counsellors, it’s clear they put effort into setting clear milestones for each student. They even send regular progress reports and hold check-ins, so students always know how they’re doing and what’s next.

The teachers are known for being supportive, too. They help students showcase their strengths while building confidence throughout the process.

Pros

  • Strong focus on the U.S. and U.K. admissions pathway
  • Combines test prep with admissions consulting
  • Covers a wider variety of tests
  • Offers diagnostic tools
  • Regular progress reports and check-ins

Cons

  • Costly

The approach was customised and personal to each individual candidate.

I am a parent of 2 boys, both of whom were assisted by IvyPrep in their university applications process. The university applications process has become increasingly high-pressure and competitive. IvyPrep’s in-depth knowledge and experience, access to expertise, structured process, and encouraging and supportive counsellors helped my sons navigate their university applications with confidence. The approach was customised and personal to each individual candidate. My sons were reluctant to present themselves in a way that did not feel authentic – the IvyPrep counsellors worked with them to highlight their individual strengths and goals, so as to present themselves in the best possible light, while keeping their applications genuine and sincere. We would highly recommend IvyPrep to anyone going through the university applications process.

Provided a supportive environment for me to understand my own strengths and goals.

IvyPrep has gone above and beyond in helping me with my application, including helping me with my personal statement, academic CV and emailing professors for research opportunities. Most importantly, they taught me to do all these things in a genuine way. IvyPrep provided a structured and supportive environment for me to understand my own strengths and goals, helping me to present them to Universities in a way that was true to myself, and also in the best possible light. Ultimately, IvyPrep helped me to feel more in control of my application process, leading me to be accepted to my top choice of course and University.

Masterclass Space was started by young graduates from India’s top universities who wanted to make quality education more accessible worldwide.

They’ve since grown into a global prep service that not only handles SAT exams but also provides comprehensive admissions consulting, from essay support to interview prep and even visa guidance.

Their SAT programme follows a pretty structured format. Lessons have clear modules and practice work, and students go through more than 15 full-length mock tests to build confidence.

Mentees also get regular progress checks and continuous testing to stay on track.

I especially like how, whether it’s group classes or one-on-one sessions, everything is still small-scale enough for individual attention.

The kids often point out the teachers’ dedication and engaging lessons, with many saying the materials are comprehensive and easy to follow.

Unlike many prep centres, they’re pretty reasonably priced. But that means you’ll be competing to book a slot.

Pros

  • Covers a wider variety of services
  • Structured modules with drills and more
  • Multiple class formats
  • Small batch size for personal attention
  • Regular progress reports
  • Engaging lessons
  • Comprehensive materials
  • Reasonably priced

Cons

  • Limited availability

Cleared my doubts in various concepts and have been really supportive throughout the course.

The teachers at Masterclass Space are well-qualified, knowledgeable and friendly. The material provided by them has been really helpful in acing my SAT. The teachers have also cleared my doubts in various concepts and have been really supportive throughout the course.

Plenty of practice materials and feedback.

Masterclass space has been the best decision for me. The classes were well structured and extremely knowledgeable. Throughout the class, I received comprehensive instructions on all aspects of the SAT- Reading, Writing and Math sections. What I appreciate most about the class is the small class size and the individual attention I received. All my doubts were cleared, and regular practice was ensured. The class also provided me with plenty of practice materials and feedback, which was invaluable in helping me prepare for the exam. I am proud to say that I got admitted to all the universities I applied to, including UCLA, UIUC, UMich, NCState, and Purdue! Joining the masterclass space was really  a boon in gaining an edge in my college admission process.

Crimson Education is known for helping students gain entry into top U.S. and U.K. universities.

They offer a long-term, holistic approach to SAT preparation, a full admissions strategy, essay development, and even capstone projects or extracurricular planning.

During the mentorship process, the team helps students craft a compelling narrative “hook” that ties together their essays, activities, and academic goals into a convincing story.

This process is guided by experienced mentors, many of whom come from Ivy League and Oxbridge backgrounds or have served as admissions officers themselves.

Students I spoke with described their experience as highly personalised and supportive, noting how tutors adapt to their pace and stay responsive even with busy schedules.

The Crimson app also complements this by connecting students to a broader learning community, where resources, workshops, and peer networks are all within reach.

I do think they’re kind of expensive, but it’s an investment.

Pros

  • Known for top U.S. and U.K. university admissions
  • Covers a wider variety of services
  • Long-term holistic approach
  • Qualified tutors
  • Highly personalised support
  • Flexible scheduling
  • Extensive resources

Cons

  • Costly

The personalised guidance, mentoring, and masterclasses have helped me.

My Crimson journey has been great so far! The personalised guidance,  mentoring, and masterclasses have really helped me expand my skillset and knowledge. I believe that the resources on the Crimson app have been great to prepare myself to get admission to the top universities. It’s been an invaluable experience, and I would recommend the organisation to anybody who wishes to get into a top university!

Kind, informative, and never hesitate to find an answer to the questions we have.

Crimson has helped me so much to prepare for university applications. The information that they gave me is very helpful, and they have assisted me in coming up with an excellent portfolio. I am really grateful for their endless support. The strategist and tutors are all very kind and informative, and never hesitate to find an answer for all the questions we have.
