Spacious boat and expert guidance leading to a bountiful catch

“Thoroughly enjoyed my fishing trip with Uncle Hock & Ken. We went as a large group of 7 people and the boat was surprisingly spacious for all 7 of us to fish at the same time. Both Uncle Hock and Ken are very experienced and willing to teach. They brought us to different parts of the water with their fish radar and really helped us catch enough fishes for our dinner. In fact, I caught a 4.5kg grouper under Ken’s patient teaching which later turned into a sumptuous dinner at a Tze Char stall. The casual conversations and banter also made us feel very welcomed. Thank you Uncle Hock and Ken for such a great time!”

To enhance the experience further, they provide top-quality Shimano and Penn gear. The guest we spoke with said the quality gear improved their chances of catching fish and made the experience more enjoyable.

“I attended the Proficiency Test at One° 15 Marina, conducted by Arun. Arun certainly provided comprehensive lesson throughout & was patient. Kept on reminding to take my time and no Rush. The key word was we practice till we get it. I had the chance to practice my berthing(10x i believe) Like his method of telling me Im the captain now & leave the decision on manuvoring by myself when his actually still keeping an eye, boosted the confidence certinly. “It’s been more than 30 years since I last rented a boat at SAFYC. After a long break, on 03Nov2023, I attended the Proficiency Test at One° 15 Marina, conducted by the friendly Arun. He gave a comprehensive lesson throughout the one and half hours. My wife and I enjoyed the whole learning process and now I’m proud to be a member of the BearBoat Charters. Purehybridz is a suitable choice whether you are new to fishing or have extensive experience. They provide a range of services including guided tours, kayak rentals, and fishing lessons to enhance your skills.

Regardless of the service you choose, this provider will equip you with high-quality gear. Guests we spoke to raved about the Hobie kayaks from the USA and the Shimano rods and reels from Japan.

Safety is prioritized here as well. Each tour is accompanied by public liability insurance and ISO-certified life jackets, allowing you to relax and enjoy your time.

Although Purehybridz allows for flexible rescheduling when plans change unexpectedly, they do require a 24-hour notice for cancellations, which might not be suitable for everyone.

“This is my third time trying out kayak fishing and had decided to go with Purehybridz this time round. It was an awesome experience compared to the other providers providing a similar kayak fishing service. Dilon was the guide assigned to us and he made this a great memorable experience! He knows all the good spots to try for and was very knowledgeable in the nuances of which bait to use and which fishes to expect to catch at each area. My daughter and I caught 5 fishes in total and they are all of a good size, between 1kg to 2.5kg. Most importantly, Dilon caters to your preferences of how hard you want to seriously catch fish or take it easy, he paces with you. It was a memorable experience especially also because my daughter was the first person to catch one within 20 minutes, and it was also her first time reeling it on her own in a kayak. It was a good enjoyable outing and would highly recommend going with them if you are thinking of trying kayak fishing for the very first time.”

Lifetime experience with massive catches and expert guidance

“Worth every dollar – an experience of a lifetime!! Initially I was very hesitant because I was used to fishing at Bedok Jetty with no fish to show after 8 hours under the sun. But to my surprise, we caught 3 MASSIVE fish within the first 2-3 hours of fishing!! Guides are extremely knowledgable and know exactly where the fish like to congregate. With patience and some skill, you’ll be able to catch fishes in no time. Fishes gave me the best fight of my life, and kayaks were super relaxing to use because it’s using leg pedals (so you dont have to use your hands to pedal against the current). Highly recommend!!”
