Where is Bird Paradise?

Singapore Bird Paradise is located in Mandai, the northern part of Singapore. You’ll find it near Mandai Lake Road, close to other attractions like the Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari. 

It’s part of the larger Mandai Wildlife Reserve area, which is a hub for wildlife experiences in the city.

How to Get to Bird Paradise

By MRT: Take the MRT to Khatib Station on the North-South Line (NS14). From there, you can catch the Mandai Khatib Shuttle, which will take you directly to the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, where Bird Paradise is located.

By Bus: You can hop on several buses that head to the Mandai area. For instance, buses 138, 927, and 926 have routes that stop near the wildlife reserves. Just let the driver know you’re heading to Bird Paradise, and they’ll direct you to the right stop.

By Taxi or Ride-Sharing Service: Hail a taxi or book a ride via your preferred ride-sharing app like Grab. Just input “Bird Paradise” or “Mandai Wildlife Reserve” as your destination, and the driver will drop you off at the entrance.

By Private Car: Set your GPS to Bird Paradise or Mandai Wildlife Reserve. Follow the directions and look for the parking areas designated for wildlife park visitors. It’s quite straightforward, and the signs will guide you the rest of the way.

Best Time to Go to Bird Paradise

The best time to go to Bird Paradise in Singapore is early morning or late afternoon when the weather is cooler, and the birds are more active.

For something special, visit during the Singapore Bird Festival in December—it’s packed with bird-watching tours, talks, and fun activities.

Feeding bird sessions at Bird Paradise are absolutely the highlight of any visit! You’ll get exciting close encounters with some of the most colorful and exotic birds around.

From the flamboyant Scarlet Macaw to the rare Baer’s Pochard, you’ll be face-to-face with these feathered friends as you hand-feed them. Don’t miss the energetic hustle of the American Flamingos—they’re a real treat to watch.

The High Flyers Show is a must-see! You’ll be captivated by the vibrant birds showcasing their talents in a stunning amphitheater. From the Scarlet Macaw to the Himalayan Griffon Vulture, these performers will leave you absolutely awestruck.

The show is an awesome combo of fun and learning, where trainers guide these avian stars through incredible aerial stunts. It’s entertaining and super educational, making it perfect for the entire family.

Another activity you absolutely can’t miss is watching the flamingos in their natural habitat! These American Flamingos boast the most brilliant pink plumage you’ll ever see.
