Seeking something exciting, we ventured into the side streets and stumbled upon Emerald Hill, a hidden gem that stole the spotlight like an answered prayer.

This cool hideaway offers a unique blend of history and Singapore’s modern nightlife. It beckons to the discerning explorer, who doesn’t mind taking the road less traveled.

Emerald Hill is an off-the-beaten-path of Orchard Road, characterized by its architecture that exudes an old-world charm. 

Walking through this quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood is like traveling back in time with its colorful facades and ornate details that highlight Peranakan culture.

People seem to like ordering the espresso martini here, so we tried giving it a chance despite being skeptical about it. In a positive turn of events, it turns out that it’s a delightful drink that manages to mesh the best of both worlds. 

While No.5 Emerald Hill has an outdoor sitting, we suggest snagging a seat inside to appreciate its cool atmosphere.

We stumbled upon this the order day while we were gathering our research for this article and lo and behold, Que Pasa called out to us with its intimate atmosphere and enticing menu. 

They have a wide range of tapa choices, ensuring there’s something to tantalize every palate. 

This foodie adventure on a plate is best enjoyed with a side of their delicious libations, which they have a variety of, so you’re free to choose your poison. 

Another thing we’re sure you’d love about Que Pasa is how it manages to incorporate its historic structure with its interior, elevating its cool and unique vibe you won’t be able to stop taking photos of.

If you’re looking for a taste of adventure, however, we recommend trying rickshaw redemption sazerac, a unique creation with ingredients like absinthe, orange bitters, and caramel macchiato.
