The only downside? You might not get the same physician each visit, especially at the busier outlets.

Joy TCM operates more like a private practice than a typical clinic, which is exactly what gives it a personal vibe. 

The space is small and comfy, and sessions never feel rushed—patients often mention how it feels like catching up with someone who’s actually paying attention.

A part of that experience comes down to Joy Poh herself. As the main practitioner, she’s known for her calm presence and thoughtful explanations, which are a big reason clients tend to stay with her for the long term.

Poh adjusted the usual fertility care here to be paced properly. Acupuncture sessions are timed to your cycle, and herbal prescriptions are adjusted each visit depending on how your body’s responding. 

Most people I’ve chatted with say the rates are fair, especially for the level of care and attention you get.

That said, costs can stack up, so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re on a tight budget.
