Pros

  • Offers a beautiful work environment
  • Has an in-house professional photography studio
  • Has a cosy coffee lounge

Cons

  • Quite pricey than most coworking spaces
  • Coffee and pantry don’t come for free

The Hive was founded in 2012, and now they’ve opened 20 spaces in 7 countries across Asia Pacific.

In Singapore, The Hive Lavender is a beautiful, expansive coworking space that offers multiple membership options, from hot desks to office suites.

This one goes into our list because of its massive space and highly ergonomic setup. You could sit here for hours and feel undisturbed.

Their friendly crew always greets us when we arrive. And when we asked about the event spaces, they brought us around the area and explained more.

We found that apart from the photography studio, they also have a podcast studio. It also has quiet, isolated rooms for important calls.

Their coworking space is also well-equipped, and they have extension monitors should you need one. The spaces are always kept clean and sanitised, making the environment highly work-conducive.

They also offer special rates for young entrepreneurs and start-ups, a really thoughtful concept especially for those that are just starting out.

It’s also located in a good area, with lots of restaurants and stores right outside. Overall, the Hive is a good choice if you need an alternative for an office, or if working from home has already taken its toll on your productivity.

Pros

  • Provides 24/7 access for hot desk memberships
  • Strategically located in the business and finance district
  • Beautiful panoramic view

Cons

  • Central air conditioning doesn’t always have the constant temperature
  • Elevators tend to be packed during busy hours

The Great Room Centennial Tower is a sweeping space that has panoramic views of Singapore. The whole floor is filled with natural light and has its own barista, event suites, meeting rooms, and business lounges.

What we liked the most about this place was their service team. It felt like they had this sense of community that just made you want to focus on working without it being so boring.

The staff were always so attentive without being too overbearing. They were observant without hovering too much, and we appreciated that very much.

The ambiance of the place was also highly favourable for working long hours, and because there’s an in-house barista, coffee and other beverages are ready to be served.

They have multiple membership options, but the hot desk membership plan offers a 24/7 access, which we think is perfect for teams that need a private space to brainstorm in.

Strategically located within the central business and financial district of Singapore, the location itself beholds a variety of facilities, from residential to entertainment.

If you wanna check the place out, they also have a virtual tour on their website, and we think it’s worth seeing.

The Great Room Centennial Tower is definitely a notable coworking space to consider if you’re looking to do work in a luxurious atmosphere.

Pros

  • Pantry with daily refreshments
  • Print and copy credits

Cons

  • Promos on their website may be outdated

If you’re traveling or on vacation and need a coworking space to work in, then CoQoons is definitely a place you need to check out.

It’s located at the HarbourFront Tower 2, where it’s a walking distance to Vivocity shopping mall and HarbourFront Centre and MRT.

The place has great working spaces, and there are spacious rooms for private meetings and even smaller pockets of spaces if you need a quiet spot for working alone.

They also have an array of spaces available, from boardrooms to private office zones. They also have window bars that open out to beautiful views.

What we like most about CoQoons is their competitive pricing. While some coworking spaces require extra payment for some staple amenities, they have it as a complementary feature.

One of these features a shower facility and even a pool table that can be used during after-office hours. Some add-on offerings are also offered, but we found that it wasn’t entirely necessary for us.

Signing up for their hot desk was practically fuss-free, and with minimal commitment too. So if you just want to try it out for a day, this one is a good option to consider.

Overall, CoQoons is a great option for a coworking space, whether you’re just around the area for a short stay or if you need a more long-term membership.

Pros

  • Has over 30 locations across Singapore
  • Highly accessible

Cons

  • No 24/7 access for any membership plan

With a network of over 30 locations around Singapore, Workbuddy might just be one of the most flexible coworking spaces we’ve come across so far.

Bookings can be made through their own app, and it’s pretty easy to use too. It shows a wide range of offices available for use, and you get to choose whichever you like.

We think it’s great for those that are always on the go and need a quiet space for work in a short time. We get to pick from their different locations depending on our preference for that day.

In addition, having a number of locations to choose from really makes them easily accessible, and their app also makes it easier to book.

As for their coworking space in Gateway West, we find that it’s also very work-conducive, as you get to be surrounded by people who are also busy working.

We think that Workbuddy is a really good option for startup environments, since you get to choose which coworking space you want to work in without being bothered about multiple subscriptions.

Their app can get buggy sometimes, and some have also complained about being charged even after cancelling their monthly subscription.

Overall, we still think it’s worth a shot to try out, but make sure to read their agreement policies carefully to avoid getting yourself in a rut.

Cons

  • Internet can get erratic when there too many people inside

Workcentral is a coworking space located in the bustling center of town, and is only a 5-minute walk away from the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station.

Much like other coworking spaces, they also have a variety of rooms and setups you can choose from – hot desks, booths, team seats, suites, and virtual offices.

However, they’re currently developing their “Passport” feature, where you can access Workcentral when you need to.

Although they haven’t posted much detail about this feature, we still look forward to it, since it seems like a good deal especially for freelancers.

We also like their space’s ambiance, and the staff are also lovely and very friendly. They were all conscientious and helpful, always tending to our needs.

Above all, we like the community at Workcentral, where everyone gets to work at their own pace without distracting each other.

Workcentral gives us the comfort of working at a convenient location in the middle of town, with a professional team and an environment that always feels welcoming and conducive for work without breaking the bank.

We definitely recommend this coworking space for anyone that needs a cosy work station in Singapore. We can say it really is a place where you can focus and get things done.
