We like that they carefully screen and choose qualified caregivers, most of whom come from the Philippines, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Singapore. 

As for services, they offer Live-In Care, which covers essentials like feeding, toileting, bathing, skincare, and grooming. They can also handle specialized tasks like managing urinary catheters, feeding tubes, or oxygen therapy.

For families who don’t need full-time help, their Hourly Home Care is a lifesaver. This is perfect for post-hospital discharge or recovery, or if your full-time caregiver is away.

You can choose hourly, half-day, or full-day bundles, and if you need something more flexible, they’re open to that, too.

While we heard about some consultants being rude, these seem rare and not the norm.

NTUC Health is one of the largest providers in the country, offering a wide range of elderly care options.

They’re known for their Home Care services, where you get all the help you need under one roof—be it a doctor, a nurse, a therapist, or just a friendly companion.

For elderly family members who want to stay active and social, they offer Senior Day Care. Imagine your loved one enjoying arts and crafts, games, karaoke sessions, and daily exercises—sounds fun, right?

They don’t just hire anyone, either. Every care associate invests at least 50 hours a year in training, so they’re always up to date with the best practices in senior care.

On the downside, we heard reports of last-minute cancellations. This could be a huge inconvenience, especially if you’ve planned your day around the service.

Active Global offers elderly care services that fit different lifestyles and budgets.

Their Household Service Scheme (HSS) allows them to train qualified foreign workers to provide basic elderly care at home. This is ideal if you don’t need a full-time carer but still want someone to help with personal care, medication reminders, and chores.

For those who prefer consistency, they offer Live-In Caregiver services—they act as personal helpers, companions, and health aides. We love that they’re trained to care for seniors with dementia, stroke, or cancer.

Don’t forget about their Day Care Centers, which are popular amongst those who want affordable care (with subsidies) outside of the home. 

Just a heads up—we heard that some clients complained about inexperienced caregivers. If you need highly seasoned pros, you might need to go elsewhere.

They have a Memory Care program, a big deal for families with loved ones battling Alzheimer’s or dementia. This facility offers safe, apartment-style spaces with security measures in place, plus a warm community.

For those who need help with daily activities, as well as advanced nursing procedures like tube feeding, injections, or suctioning, they offer Geriatric Care. Basically, your loved ones get medical attention without feeling like they’re in a hospital.

And if you want to stay overnight? They offer nice Guest Suites that you can book right in the facility.

Not surprisingly, premium services like these come with a premium price tag.
