Arcade Money Changers has made sure to keep up with the needs of its customers throughout the years. Along with their consistent efficiency, they offer online booking options to speed up in-person transactions.

Customers can opt to book rates online and then drop by Arcade Money Changers later in the day to pick up their funds. This isn’t required though, and their tellers still entertain walk-in customers and ensure quick transactions.

The staff does seem cold from time to time, but it’s mostly when they have to accommodate plenty of people during peak hours. Still, they’re very lenient with overlooking note quality and series.

When it comes to location, we found their store effortlessly. They are easily accessible by MRT via the Raffles Place Station.

Crante Money Changer is crazy popular among locals, which is kind of surprising considering the one and only service they offer is currency exchange. But then, it really is proof of how good they are at what they do.

They keep their transactions straightforward and efficient. Their rates are fair and they’re always transparent with them through posted signage.

One drawback we noticed, though, is their location in Chinatown. Because it’s a tourist hub that gets a lot of foot traffic, accessing this provider might prove to be a hassle. It’s also surrounded by a ton of other money changers, potentially making it hard to find. 

Despite the crowd, the wait is often short and the tellers are polite. From time to time, they have to enforce orderliness as it gets too crowded and the queue gets quite long during peak hours.

JC Global is clearly favored as a money changer based on how they’ve been able to expand in more ways than one. You can see it in their multiple branches, as well as their very own mobile app.

They prioritize convenience by supporting PayNow and providing QR codes for easy withdrawal. Representatives also reach out to customers via WhatsApp to give updates on their transactions.

Their Northpoint City branch is easy to find, as it’s situated within a mall, but it’s also the one that sees the most foot traffic. Customers can expect a long queue but transactions are systematic and well-organized.

The only downside is that in an effort to quicken the service, some customers may feel rushed when being attended to by the staff.

If there’s one thing that makes Lion City Money Changer stand out from the rest, it’s the exceptional customer service. The staff are very welcoming and attentive the moment a customer steps foot inside their store.

Apart from offering diligent assistance, they also give tips on the best times to exchange money. This is especially helpful since their rates tend to fluctuate during the day.

However, once you find the optimal money-changing time, transactions are processed smoothly and hassle-free. Their staff works fast so customers rarely have to wait.

Just a heads up though: they’re not the easiest money changer to access. Although they’re located within a mall, the building itself isn’t that well-maintained so it may not be appealing for some to make the trip.

Due to its setup, Thin Margin is absolutely unique as a money-changing service. This company conducts all of its currency exchange transactions online and it gets funds to their customers via delivery.

We know that the delivery system may seem unsafe but they have several security measures for customers. For example, customers will receive a transaction PIN that they’ll have to give the delivery staff before they can get their cash.

Along with the convenience they provide, they’re also very considerate when it comes to requests. Rescheduling deliveries is easy and you can even ask for crisp notes if that’s how you’d prefer to receive your money.

Despite all of these features, their rates are still fairly competitive. The only thing that might be a drawback for some is that they require a minimum amount when exchanging funds.
