Pros

  • Open until Saturday
  • Huge space for multiple students
  • Offers many different classes
  • Partners with other gyms in Singapore

Cons

  • Pricey equipment rental
  • No phone number for direct contact

JR Muay Thai wants to give its pupils the whole Muay Thai experience. Depending on the student, there are packages and per-session prices available.

Students will learn several different Muay Thai techniques in their sessions, such as elbows, kicks, the clinch, defensive maneuvers, and more complex movements like the flying knee, superman punch, and spinning back elbow.

We appreciate that the gym has instructors who are capable of instructing at all levels of skill. The training atmosphere is set up to train students at all Muay Thai levels, from beginner to expert, and is geared to satisfy high standards.

A boxing ring, tatami mats, a large training area, hefty punching bags, suitable gloves, hand wraps, and a range of exercise equipment are among its amenities.

In order to study Muay Thai methods properly, students must be in high physical condition. The exercise equipment in the gym can assist students in achieving the required level of fitness.

Cons

Kai Muay Thai offers a range of classes to suit different needs and goals. Its HIIT Muay Thai class mixes Muay Thai techniques with high-intensity interval training for a difficult and effective exercise.

We appreciate that it also provides kid-friendly classes, which are instructed by qualified coaches and created to be appropriate for kids of all ages.

For those who prefer individualized attention and direction over group exercise, the trainers at Kai also provide personal training.

We found it impressive that the teachers and trainers here have a wealth of knowledge and are dedicated to giving their pupils a top-notch training environment.

Whether an athlete is a beginner or an expert, it is clear that they go to great lengths to make sure the training is customized to meet their goals and skills.

Curious individuals can try out a class for free but we suggest calling the gym first because this offer may not be available all the time.

We love that the gym also has an impressive range of equipment, including punching bags, gloves, and other training tools.

Overall, we commend the welcoming and knowledgeable trainers and coaches as well as the welcoming atmosphere and attitude of the gym. However, some clients might think that Kai Muay Thai’s costs are a bit high.

Naksu Muay Thai offers professional and authentic Muay Thai training. It was founded in 2017 and boasts a committed staff of instructors, a modern facility, and a mission to instruct students of all skill levels in genuine Muay Thai techniques.

The gym charges reasonable rates for group workouts, personal training, kid’s classes, and beginner classes.

Students that train at Naksu Muay Thai are exposed to a variety of methods, including kicks, punches, elbow and knee attacks, as well as the use of one’s own body weight and thrust.

We appreciate that courses are held in a welcoming, clean, and safe environment and are appropriate for everyone, from novices to experienced fighters. The gym also offers corporate classes.

The instructors at Naksu Muay Thai are knowledgeable, seasoned, and enthusiastic about what they do. They have actual fighting experience and have refined their skills and techniques through time.

We saw that they are very attentive and detail-oriented in their instruction and training, and committed to assisting pupils in reaching their objectives.

Pros

  • Good competing program
  • Beginner program
  • Special training available
  • Gym equipment also available outside classes

Cons

  • Pricey
  • No AM classes on weekdays

Chowraiooi Muay Thai is a gym led by Head Trainer Robert Yap, who has more than 25 years of experience in Muay Thai and other martial arts.

Robert holds the title of Master Trainer under the Amateur Muay Thai Association of Singapore and is the Team Manager for Team Singapore, the country’s National Muay Thai team.

If you want to study under a coach with notable experience, this is a great gym to check out. Chowraiooi Muay Thai is affiliated with other gyms in Thailand, the origin country of Muay Thai, so you know you’re in good hands.

The Singapore location has a 6,000-square-foot facility that includes a large sparring ring, showers, and storage facilities, as well as other training equipment. It is open to students, practitioners, and fighters who are interested in developing their skills.

We love that this establishment is very particular to competing martial artists. If you’re interested in special training for competition,  Chowraiooi is the perfect gym.

One of the notable drawbacks of this establishment is the expensive prices. Since it’s connected to professional gyms from Thailand and is sponsored for competition, its prices are higher compared to others.

It also doesn’t offer AM classes during weekdays and that may be an issue for some students.

The Jungle takes pride in being a neighborhood gym where everyone collaborates with skilled coaches to achieve a common objective. For practitioners of all skill levels, from novices to more experienced pupils, it offers a variety of classes.

We appreciate the innovative training methods used in this establishment. It challenges its pupils by using drills and sequences taken from diverse martial arts rather than monotonous, repetitive workouts.

Despite the fact that the Jungle has several advantages, it should be noted that its costs can be high when compared to those of other gyms in the region.

For those who want to check out the facilities and classes before committing to a membership, it offers free trial lessons.

The gym stands out from other Muay Thai gyms in Singapore due to its emphasis on creativity and mental and physical development, making it a wonderful option for anyone wishing to improve their skills and fitness through martial arts.

Pros

  • Effective teaching
  • Wide range of teaching services (Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts)
  • Professional martial arts coaches
  • Multiple branches

Cons

  • Pricey

We like that the Tiger Muay Thai consists of professional and experienced coaches in different fields of martial arts. It guarantees the effective and safe process of teaching martial arts.

They offer teachings for a wide range of martial arts, which enables anyone to hone and learn martial arts skills for athletic and personal purposes.

Also, we appreciate that they took the effort of having multiple branches to expand their reach and let more people access their services.

However, since the gym itself is complete with facilities and the coaches are with high end experiences, the class rates are a bit pricey.

Still, these prices speak for itself due to the quality of the coaches and the skill taught. So although they may cost you a bit, the amount is definitely worth it.

Hence, we do recommend the Tiger Muay Thai to people who desire to learn or hone their skills.

Furthermore, they employ highly experienced instructors with more than 10 years of expertise in the field to ensure clients that each level is taught in a proper and efficient manner.

We like that pretty much anyone can join, no matter their skill level. Whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced, there is a class you can join.

You have the option between attending group classes or private classes depending on your preference.

What we like about their private classes is that these can be tailored to perfectly suit each student. This is also a convenient option as the coaches will be the ones to go to your home.

What we also like about Elite is that they a free trial for their classes so you can gauge if it’s fit for you or not.

They have a variety of promos and packages for their classes. You can get a package for a month’s worth of classes up to a year.

Cons

  • Shorter hours during weekend

Muay Thai may not be easy, but with Eminent Gym, you can learn it quickly because, unlike others, you will be trained by Singapore’s top Muay Thai champions and trainers.

We prefer the because all their classes are complete and suitable for all levels. Whether you are a beginner or already been training for a few years, they can accommodate you.

Apart from this, another reason why we like them is that they allow their students to do sparring at the end of classes. And for those who do not want to do it, another trainer will lead them to do strength and conditioning instead.

Cleanliness is a must in gyms. With Eminent Gym, no equipment will be left dirty and sweaty because the members themselves clean right after they use them.

Unfortunately, their rates are not easily available on their website and they also have shorter operating hours on weekends.

In comparison to other gyms, their membership fees are easily seen on their website, you just have to scroll down a little bit more.

We prefer them over others because they offer a trial session where it is valid for a day. so even if you are a beginner , you do not have to worry about it.
