The Durian Bakery started with a mission to deliver rich, premium durian cakes straight to your doorstep—and they’ve carved out a name among durian lovers in Singapore. 

They’re especially known for their Mao Shan Wang Mille Crepe Cake, which features 39 layers of delicate crepes and real MSW durian puree. They use only fresh durian, and several customers I spoke to said they could immediately taste the difference. 

The bakery also makes it easy to compare options, with clearly listed prices based on cake size and style.

Besides that, I found their delivery service smooth and well-managed. They offer same-day delivery if you order early, and the cake arrives in an insulated box to keep everything intact. 

Customers have also highlighted the staff’s politeness and responsiveness, specifically for the ordering process.

However, the prices are a bit high if you’re just looking for something simple.

Yours Sincerely Bakery is a home-based business that’s grown into a popular name for elegant, reduced-sugar cakes. 

The bakery focuses on satisfyingly light flavors, which is why their Lychee Rose Shortcake and Mango-based cakes are well-loved among regular customers.

I noticed they take pride in offering cakes that aren’t cloyingly sweet, something multiple patrons mentioned they appreciated, especially when buying for kids or elderly family members.

Each cake comes with a price breakdown considering the add-ons and size. You also get extras like candles and utensils included with some packages.

When I asked about delivery, I was told they partner with third-party couriers and typically deliver within 1–2 days. Everything arrives securely packed and chilled.

Do note, though, that if you need delivery within a specific time window, the extra charge can be a little steep. There’s also a re-delivery fee if no one’s around to receive it.

Take A Bake is a small-batch bakery that has built its reputation on creating classic cakes with a homemade touch. 

Known for its comforting flavors like burnt basque cheesecake and strawberry shortcake, the shop has gained a loyal following for classic, well-executed bakes.

When I contacted them, they were quick to reply with recommendations based on occasion and flavor preferences. 

I also appreciated how their prices were broken down and how flexible their portions are—from petite 4-inch cakes to larger ones that serve groups.

They partner with reliable couriers for islandwide delivery, and clients I chatted with shared that their cakes consistently arrive fresh and intact. If you’re ordering ahead of a celebration, they also allow early bookings through Instagram or their website.

One thing to note: while the cakes are well-loved, they do sell out fast, so it’s best to order a few days in advance.

Delcie’s is one of the few bakeries in Singapore that focuses entirely on guilt-free cakes. Everything here is egg-free, dairy-free, and suitable for diabetics and vegans. 

They’ve been around since 2008 and have since gained recognition for their allergen-conscious and wholesome alternatives.

I asked one of their staff members how they maintain taste while using alternative ingredients. They explained that each recipe is tested extensively to find a balance between flavor and dietary needs.

Considering this and their specialty ingredients, their pricing is reasonable, and it’s all listed by size and ingredient type. 

Their same-day delivery option is a plus for last-minute buyers, and their customer service was quick to respond on WhatsApp. 

Customers I interviewed also pointed out that the extra packaging care gave them peace of mind.

However, availability is limited on certain items, especially seasonal or bestseller cakes, which can sell out quickly during peak periods.

Monice Bakes is a home-based online bakery that makes custom cakes for birthdays, baby showers, and special occasions. Everything is made-to-order, which allows for a lot of creativity in design. 

Their cakes also lean on the less-sweet side—something clients often mention as a bonus, especially for children.

When I reached out to ask about options, the team was accommodating. They provided clear information on sizes, servings, and delivery zones. I also heard that they updated you throughout the process, from design confirmation to dispatch.

As for delivery, it’s known to be handled smoothly, with the cakes arriving well-packed and in excellent condition. 

It’s also great that their pricing is listed transparently on the site, so you can easily match the cake size to your budget.

That said, since they operate entirely online, there’s no physical store to browse. If you prefer discussing options in person, this setup won’t be ideal.
