5 Best Chinese Medicine Clinics in Singapore That Have Earned the Locals’ Trust

Pricing: We looked for clinics with clear rates for consultations, acupuncture, cupping, herbal remedies, and follow-up visits. Clinics that offer value without upselling unnecessary treatments were given preference. Range of Treatments: We selected clinics offering a wide spectrum of TCM services, including acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, and tuina massage. Practitioner Qualifications: Only clinics with TCMPB-registered physicians were considered. This means they’re certified by the official Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board that ensures proper training and ethical standards in TCM practice. Staff Service & Patient Care: We considered the overall patient experience, from reception to treatment. Clinics with friendly, attentive staff who create a calm, respectful, and well-organized environment were rated more favorably.

When my mom started feeling unwell—body aches, restless nights, the usual—I brought her to the nearest hospital we could find. The problem was, “nearest” meant almost an hour away, and juggling that with my work schedule quickly became unsustainable.

She saw a medical doctor, got a few prescriptions, but nothing seemed to help. She was still tossing and turning at night. It was hard watching her go through that while not knowing what else to do.

That’s when I started looking into traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinics closer to home. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but after one consultation and a round of herbal medicine and therapy, she already felt lighter, like her body could relax and heal.

Since then, I’ve made it a habit to keep tabs on good Chinese medicine clinics in Singapore.

Oriental Remedies Clinic at Jurong East is known for their integrative approach. They pair traditional fertility treatments with therapies aimed at boosting circulation and reducing inflammation.

Everyone here is TCMPB-certified, and many are also trained in Biomedical Science, which helps them explain TCM concepts more clinically.

Their services include acupuncture and herbal medicine, alongside options like Electro-Lymphatic Drainage, which is popular among patients dealing with hormonal imbalance or fatigue.

Consultations are priced based on physician seniority, which feels fair for the level of detail and time spent. I also noticed how transparent the staff were since each step was clearly explained, with no push for extras.

This level of care continues with their herbal prescriptions. A few patients I spoke to said their symptoms became easier to manage once they followed the prescription regularly.

The only downside some mentioned was that there’ve been occasional issues with miscommunication when scheduling appointments.

Pros

  • Integrative approach
  • TCMPB-certified staff with Biomedical Science training
  • Transparent consultations
  • Prescriptions tailored and well-explained

Cons

  • Occasional scheduling miscommunications

He was able to identify and treat other health issues that I was unaware of.

I have had eczema that has been ongoing for a few months, which has caused me a great amount of distress and discomfort. I chanced upon Oriental Remedies as I was searching for an alternative to steroidal treatments. After just 2-3 sessions with Physician Yap, I was able to see great improvements in my eczema. Other than my eczema, he was able to identify and treat other health issues that I was unaware of. Additionally, Physician Yap and all the staff made me feel very comfortable during all my visits. Thank you so much !! 😋

Founded by Dr. He Yu Ying, this clinic has built a quiet reputation for attentive, cycle-aware care rooted in traditional Chinese medicine.

They’re known for taking a patient-first approach, offering core treatments like acupuncture, herbal prescriptions, tuina, and even pediatric services.

Each physician is TCMPB-certified and experienced in treating hormonal concerns, digestive imbalances, and fatigue-related issues.

During visits, practitioners take the time to check in on symptoms, stress levels, and body responses before adjusting the treatment plan.

Patrons I talked to mentioned how even during peak hours, the staff remained focused and never rushed through a session. They also liked that the clinic isn’t pushy, so you’re allowed to pace your treatments how you want.

I found the rates to be reasonable based on the attention each session offered. Just keep in mind that because it’s fairly priced and well-regarded, the clinic can get busy.

Pros

  • Patient-first treatment approach
  • TCMPB-certified practitioners
  • Attentive staff
  • Reasonable pricing

Cons

  • Can get busy

All the staff are very kind, friendly and professional, and efficient.

G&G TCM Medical is recognized as one of the first clinics in Singapore to adopt a holistic approach to traditional Chinese medicine. They have built a reputation for their grounded, results-focused care.

The clinic is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. Patients I’ve spoken to often recommend it to friends and family, and it’s easy to see why.

Their TCMPB-certified practitioners are known for their hands-on diagnostic skills. The staff is attentive and quick to pinpoint congested areas, which makes treatments like tuina and acupuncture feel especially targeted and effective.

I love how they cover all the expected services: acupuncture, cupping, massage, and herbal remedies, with a focus on long-term imbalances like digestive discomfort, hormonal shifts, or chronic stress.

The pricing also leans slightly higher than some clinics, but patients say the results make it feel like time and money well spent.

Pros

  • Early adopter of holistic TCM in Singapore
  • Clean, well-maintained clinic
  • Loyal client base
  • Full-service offerings
  • Patients often report lasting results

Cons

  • Costly

The interior is so beautiful and comfortable, and the service was really lovely.

Went there for cupping last evening. It’s my second time doing any kind of cupping and my first time trying out this chain. The interior is so beautiful and comfortable, and the service was really lovely. Today I’m breathing so much better, and last night my blood circulation was so much better too. Will be coming back regularly!

Because of their professional treatment, my recovery process has been so much better and pain-free.

I had a serious injury to the adductors and groin, and the pain prevented me can’t walking properly and prevented me from doing all the exercises I could do. Thanks to the masseur Alan, who is a master of tuina, and Dr Cho, who performed acupuncture in my injury area. Because of their professional treatment, my recovery process has been so much better and pain-free. If you have any injuries in the muscle, please do a consultation with the doctor, and if you are targeting muscle tension release, please look for Alan for tuina, they are the best !

Located in Holland Village, Yu He Tang Wen’s TCM Clinic offers a more intimate setup that feels clean and slightly upscale.

They specialize in fertility and hormonal support through acupuncture and herbal prescriptions, while also offering TCM-based facials and slimming treatments like Beauty and Weight Loss Acupuncture.

The staff are friendly and easy to talk to—they were kind enough to share some recommendations, mentioning that tuina massage and cupping are among their most requested services.

The physicians are TCMPB-registered, often trained in women’s health. They’re also bilingual, making communication during treatments a lot smoother.

Prescriptions here aren’t always given right away. Most patients I talked to said the clinic focuses first on therapies before recommending herbs later on. When prescribed, the medicine is clearly labeled and available in different formats.

It’s a thoughtful process overall, though some patients noted that the cost of sessions can add up.

Pros

  • Wide range of treatments
  • Bilingual, TCMPB-registered practitioners
  • Friendly staff

Cons

  • Costs can accumulate over time

All the staff were really friendly!

The consultation was smooth, and the TCM doctor was very good with the guiding questions, given that it’s my first time at a TCM clinic. She helped me to address my concerns, and overall, she’s a pretty bright and easy to talk to person. She made me feel at ease and shared related tips on my health issues. I had shoulder back pain (it comes and goes quite frequently) and recently a bit of a poor appetite that could’ve stemmed from falling sick a month ago. I knew of the clinic as I just walked past it while going for yoga class around Holland V. All the staff were really friendly! Thanks to the receptionist who explained more about the store’s opening promotion, I managed to get a free consultation and a free Meridian massage. I felt much better afterwards, would recommend!

All very helpful and warm, I definitely feel very comfortable here.

The masseur Nana is very friendly and meticulous, she did a Meridian massage very well, solved my neck pain and back problems. I could sense that she is very skilled and addressed my sore area effectively. Felt very refreshed and relieved after the massage session. The receptionist and staff here were all very helpful and warm, I definitely feel very comfortable here. The place and towels are very clean and tidy too. Highly recommended!!

Established in 2018, Shande TCM has built a strong reputation for its accessible, community-rooted care.

One thing that sets it apart is the tradition of offering free consultations on certain lunar dates. This greatly helps those working with tight budgets.

Their services include tuina, moxibustion, and herbal prescriptions, with staff who are all TCMPB-certified and experienced in managing fatigue and pain.

I also noticed they don’t rely on a one-size-fits-all method; different techniques are used across sessions depending on your condition that week.

This allows the body to respond in stages, something that patients with joint stiffness really benefit from.

The clinic is also popular for managing sprains and mobility issues. Physician Yang Yang is often mentioned for her patient, knowledgeable manner, though most of the consultations are done in Chinese.

However, (very) few patients shared that while the sessions felt thorough, the improvements didn’t always hold up over time.

Pros

  • Community-oriented
  • Free consultations on lunar dates
  • TCMPB-certified practitioners
  • Flexible, adaptive treatment methods

Cons

  • Most consults are in Chinese
  • A few patients say results didn’t always last long-term

Always takes the time to explain the treatment process and address any concerns I have.

I’ve been visiting 付姐 for the past month, and I’m truly impressed by her level of care and professionalism. She is not only highly skilled but also incredibly kind and patient, always taking the time to explain the treatment process and address any concerns I have. Each session has left me feeling noticeably better and I appreciate the genuine attention and thoughtfulness in every visit. Highly recommend 付姐 to anyone seeking effective TCM care!

Extremely precise and professional in handling my prolonged spine ache.

Yang yang was extremely precise and professional in handling my prolonged spine ache. After using her electrical shockwaves on both my shoulders, within 2 hours my neck was released of tension and stiffness. Keep up the good work in helping out people like me who’s suffering silently in pain.
