Danji is a Korean barbecue joint located on Tanjong Katong Road. Its menu consists of pork belly, beef ribeye, beef brisket, beef bulgogi, and more.

What really makes it stand out is its wine-marinated pork belly. The pork is juicy and flavourful with a delicious layer of fat on the outside.

Other than the great dishes it offers, what makes Danji unique is that it allows customers to customize their BBQ dishes according to taste. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.

The menu items here are affordable and the portion sizes are generous. For beverages, wine, and soju are available for customers to pair their meals with.

The restaurant also offers healthy options that can pair well with Korean barbecue. These include salads such as kimchi salad and fried kimchi, as well as side dishes such as black bean spaghetti and spicy edamame beans.

The signature lettuce that pairs with samgyupsal is also available and is always served fresh.

The restaurant is cozy and inviting with plenty of comfortable seats for customers to enjoy their food in a relaxing environment.

Its only drawback is that it’s closed on Mondays, which is a shame as it’s great for diners looking for value for money and great food on a weekday.

Ssikkek is a Korean restaurant on New Bridge Road that specializes in Korean barbecue. Its buffet offers a variety of meats, vegetables, and side dishes that are perfect for a hearty meal.

Beef bulgogi, beef short plate, pork belly, and pork belly ribs are all available at the buffet as well as a wide variety of other meats and vegetables.

There is also an à la carte menu that offers individual portions of the same meats that are available at the buffet, as well as a selection of non-meat dishes including salads, seafood, and vegetables.

What makes this restaurant stand out is its variety of side dishes, which include tofu soup, kimchi, seasoned potatoes, braised egg custard, and grilled mushrooms, to name a few.

It also has a large seating area, making it perfect for group gatherings. The restaurant is open from 11:30 am to 10 pm every day and serves lunch as well as dinner.

Its only drawback is the price, which is a little steep. But luckily, students get a discount.

For non-students, if you’re willing to break the bank a bit, this is still one of the best places for Korean barbecue that you’ll find in Singapore.

Pros

  • Classy aesthetic
  • Impressive menu
  • Also has seafood options
  • Tasty broth-based soups

Cons

  • Side dish needs improvement
  • Closed on Mondays

Maru is a Korean barbecue buffet restaurant that has quickly become a popular spot for those looking for an excellent variety of Korean BBQ dishes.

It is currently located on Cheong Chim Nam road and is one of the best value-for-money restaurants you can find in Singapore. It’s reasonably priced for a buffet and its selection is extensive enough to cater to a wide range of tastes.

The restaurant’s large seating area and buffet tables make it easy for large groups to gather and enjoy a delicious meal together. It has a classy aesthetic and offers a contemporary take on traditional Korean food.

Another highlight is the fact that it also has seafood options aside from its signature meat platters, so if you’re looking for something a little more unique, this is a great option.

Unfortunately, the establishment is closed on Mondays, so it’s not a very convenient option for office workers looking for an affordable lunch at the start of the work week. It is, however, a great choice for the weekends.

Its side dish game also needs improvement, but its broth-based soups make for a nice alternative to rice or noodles.

Overall, the restaurant is a great place to go for a nice, filling meal at a reasonable price and the spacious seating makes it ideal for a group get-together.

Pros

  • Discounts for kids
  • Big establishment
  • Impressive menu
  • Good hours
  • Open daily

Cons

  • Crowded on weekends

Located in Jurong East Central is Oppa, a Korean barbecue buffet that is definitely worth checking out. The all-you-can-eat buffet features a wide variety of meats, including beef brisket, pork belly, pork neck, and many more.

What makes this place great is its large building and discount options for kids. It is a good family restaurant that caters to all members of the family.

The drinks at Oppa are reasonably priced and the desserts are delicious. It also has discounted prices during public holidays so families can enjoy the barbecue buffet without breaking the bank.

The menu items are diverse and available for both lunch and dinner.

For the Korean barbecue options, side dish varieties include kimchi jigae, spicy marinated mussels, cabbage kimchi, steamed tofu with garlic chili sauce, and many more.

We love how the restaurant is open every day. This means it’s convenient for a lot of people to visit the place.

The only downside of this restaurant is the fact that it can be crowded on weekends.

This is to be expected because a lot of families and couples come here to eat during the weekends.

Overall, we highly recommend Oppa as a family-friendly restaurant that offers a great Korean barbecue buffet at a reasonable price.

Pros

  • Large seating area
  • Impressive menu
  • Unique marinade
  • Wide range of greens

Cons

  • Pricey

Orchard Road’s K.Cook is a must-try barbecue buffet if you’re a fan of Korean cuisine. With a wide variety of meats, seafood, and side dishes, it’s easy to find something to your taste.

Among the popular meat cuts are the pork collar, pork belly, and beef short ribs. The marinated pork collar is juicy and tender and goes great with the spicy chimichurri

sauce.

The decor and overall mood of the restaurant are quite casual, which is great for a laid-back dinner with friends and family. The seating area is spacious and comfortable.

What makes this buffet stand out is the unique marinade that customers can use to season the meat themselves. Guests can choose from four different sauces – honey garlic, Korean chili, original, or teriyaki — and add in some of their favorite spices.

For those on a diet, there’s also a good selection of greens that go with most of the

dishes on the buffet table. The side dish options are varied and make good use of seasonal produce.

The price of the menu items is the only drawback. Some are a bit steep and don’t match the portion size.

However, the unique marinade, the wide selection of meat cuts, and the convenient location make up for the price difference.
