5 Best Thrift Shops in Singapore That’ll Have You Bragging About Your Bargains
I didn’t grow up with much. My parents worked hard, but money was tight, so buying second-hand clothes was our way of stretching every dollar.
Back then, it wasn’t exactly “cool.” I remember going through racks of pre-loved clothes, hoping to find something that made me feel like I could keep up with classmates who always had the newest trends.
Over time, I learned how to spot quality pieces and even tweak a few myself to make them look brand new.
Now that thrifting’s made a comeback, it feels like my time to shine. It’s no longer just about saving money—it’s about finding character, sustainability, and great fashion stories.

Thryft was made when a group of university friends in Singapore decided to turn their love for second-hand finds into something bigger.
Since then, it’s grown into one of the more popular thrift spots in town, with both an online and physical store.
Their selection is massive. They have more than 40,000 items listed online, ranging from men’s and women’s apparel to different book genres and even vintage vinyl.
Clothes are often up to 90% off retail prices, which is already a steal in my book. But what really sold me was their inclusive size range.
Not many thrift stores in Singapore carry sizes from XS to XXL, so it’s nice to see that for a change.
Frequent shoppers also talk about how comfortable the space feels, with cosy corners to browse through racks or flip through books.
We think the staff could be a little friendlier, though.
Clean, spacious, comfortable & organised.
“Has a good range of women’s clothing, some men’s clothing, children & adult books, vinyl records. One dressing room. Clean, spacious, comfortable & organised. Has seats too – useful if others in your group want to sit and wait. I got a women’s top at $5, berms at $8 and office dress at $10. Could drop off 2nd hand books/clothes to donate or trade in for credits too – more details on their website.”

On top of clothes, there are also books and vinyls.
“Comfiest place to thrift in Singapore by far. Working aircon, plenty of seats, music, plus on top of clothes there are also books and vinyls 😭 Thank you guys for doing what you do! I think the place would be even better if there were more/bigger fitting rooms. I’d also add that you may not find what you’re looking for here as the clothes here are quite varied. Not exactly street 😎☝🏻 nor the most trendy but that’s what they are, a thrift, not curated vintage.”

REFASH at The Centrepoint feels like the bridge between traditional thrifting and modern retail.
This Singapore-based e-commerce platform has been championing the idea of getting people to “think second-hand first,” which I find genuinely refreshing and down-to-earth.
It has since expanded beyond its online roots, with several physical outlets across the island. The Centrepoint store has all the polish of a modern retail space with bright lights, tidy displays, and neatly arranged racks.
Prices depend on the brand and condition, but most shoppers enjoy the markdowns, with frequent site-wide promos. Some premium labels still come at slightly higher fees.
On the selling side, a few consignors mention that payouts can be modest or that high-end pieces aren’t always appraised as expected.
Lots of items to choose from.
“A must-go place for affordable and fashionable apparel! Lots of items to choose from.”
- Gyc, Google Review
Patiently explains everything to customers.
“The sweetest, most polite and enthusiastic staff Refash has is working at this centrepoint branch. I went today and saw how she actively promoted your membership, patiently explaining everything to customers. This is much unlike some of the employees at other branches who don’t even ask if you are member, much less to promote a sign-up for new members. What a gem of an employee this girl is. She ought to be recognised by the management (Young Malay girl, working on 5 Feb, 5pm).”

The Fashion Pulpit isn’t your average thrift store—it’s Singapore’s first and largest clothes-swap and upcycling space.
Instead of the usual buy-and-sell setup, the shop works like a shared wardrobe where pieces constantly find new owners. You drop off clothes you no longer wear, get points in exchange, and use those to pick out items that feel fresh to you.
A one-time swap session starts at around S$12, which makes it a fun and affordable way to refresh your wardrobe sustainably.
The store itself is spacious, well-organised, and filled with apparel, shoes, bags, and accessories sorted by size and style. It feels nothing like the usual chaotic thrift racks.
I’ve even noticed how the staff here are super friendly and approachable. They always seem ready to help without hovering.
But since the store curates its collection carefully, the selection can feel smaller and more niche than larger thrift stores.
Items sorted according to colour and size for easy browsing.
“It’s my fourth time at The Fashion Pulpit and I’ve found really good gems every. single. time!! Very well organised, sorted according to colour and size for easy browsing. Multiple fitting rooms and ample space for a comfortable thrifting experience. Staff are really friendly and helpful too! Will always pop by when I’m in the area 🫶”

Prices are reasonable, especially for the quality and variety available.

SSVP Shop is the flagship charity thrift store run by the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and I believe that it’s a place where you can shop guilt-free because your purchases actually help others!
All proceeds go toward supporting vulnerable local communities, so every item you buy goes a little further than just your wardrobe.
Their motto, “good, affordable, and quality thrifting,” really sums it up. Most of the products range between S$6 and S$15, making it easily one of the most affordable thrift shops in Singapore.
You’ll find a good mix of men’s, women’s, and kids’ clothing, plus accessories, all neatly arranged in a clean, well-lit, and air-conditioned space.
People often mention how friendly and helpful the staff are, which makes browsing even more enjoyable.
Of course, since the shop is run by volunteers, some visitors noted that warmth and service can vary a little.
Big variety of high street brands of women’s clothing.
“The best thrift shop I visited in Singapore till now. The prices are very reasonable unlike most of the other places. They have good quality products. Also a big variety of high street brands of women clothing as well as branded clothes for men and even for kids. What I really like is that you can find also household items as well as shoes, bags, accessories and even some toys and books. A true thrifty shop. When I visited they happened to be running a 30% sale on all items. That was the cherry on the cake! Highly recommended place. The staff is very friendly as well. For sure will visit again!”

I bought more than I planned to, as everything is so reasonably priced.

Vintagewknd will make you feel like you’ve stepped into someone’s Pinterest board: pastel wales, fairy lights, and racks of one-of-a-kind clothes that make you want to start experimenting with your style.
Their tagline says it all: “80% upcycled, 20% vintage, 100% unique!” Instead of the usual pre-loved finds, they focus on reworked vintage and upcycled fashion pieces that have been given a new life while keeping their retro charm.
You’ll spot names like Carhartt, Nike, and Levi’s among their curated selection, alongside their own creative revamps.
Tags are definitely higher than your usual thrift store, but customers say it’s worth it given the amount of work and care that goes into each piece.
I had a great time browsing too—the owner was genuinely warm and made the whole visit feel personal and relaxed.
Good value for money & quality.
“Love their pieces, concept, and efforts for slow fashion! They upcycle textile waste into trendy silhouettes that are one of a kind, good value for money & quality.”
- Sabrina Wee, Google Review
Each item has been carefully reworked into something fresh and stylish.
“If you’re thrifting in Haji Lane, Vintagewknd is an absolute must-visit! While there are plenty of secondhand stores in the area, this gem stands out with its upcycled fashion—think tea towels, old clothes, bedsheets, and even carpets transformed into one-of-a-kind statement pieces. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and you can tell each item has been carefully reworked into something fresh and stylish. Whether you’re after a quirky patchwork dress, a retro-inspired co-ord set, or a funky statement piece, you’ll find something truly unique here. Plus, the quality? Chef’s kiss. 👌 The vibe of the store is just as cool as its clothes—vintage aesthetics meet sustainable fashion in a way that feels both nostalgic and modern. Prices are reasonable for the level of creativity and effort put into each piece. If you love standing out from the crowd while supporting slow fashion and sustainability, this is the spot for you. Definitely one of the best thrifting experiences in Singapore! Will 100% be back for more. 💖♻️✨”
