- Affordable seafood-on-ice buffet option
- Diverse price range

- Wide range of dishes offered
Cons

Edge is situated inside the Pan Pacific Singapore hotel, which is just beside the Promenade Station bus stop. It is open all week but is on break between 2:30 pm to 6 pm from Monday to Saturday and 3 pm to 6 pm on Sundays.
It serves regional delicacies of Asia and offers local cuisine, which is usually a must-try for foreign customers. It won the Best Champagne Brunch 2022 from Expat Living Readers’ Choice.
Edge is more known for its seafood-on-ice buffet offering. It is available for brunch from Monday to Friday, with delectable dishes like black mussels, scallops on the half-shell, and giant prawns.
We also like that this establishment has food options for vegetarians and vegans. This enables it to cater to a larger demographic of people around Singapore.
This restaurant offers seafood for just about $65 per customer, whereas other buffets only do so during special events, which cost significantly more.
Additionally, Edge has buffet selections that have other exclusive dishes such as premium beef and fresh fruits. Having said that, this option is more expensive.
Be that as it may, this restaurant’s buffet is ideal for most individuals since it has a diverse price range.
However, keep in mind that Edge does not accept cash as payment. It’s definitely something most customers find a bit frustrating.

- Consistent operating hours from Monday to Sunday
- Affordable buffet
- Diverse food options
- Offers specialty drinks without extra charge
- Food is spaced evenly to avoid customers getting crammed in one area

- Usually full of customers
Carousel is found in Royal Plaza on Scotts. It is just a 2-minute walk from the Thong Teck Building bus stop.
It has consistent operating hours from Monday to Sunday but is unavailable from 2 pm to 6:30 pm.
Carousel is well-renowned for its wide variety of options. It is also a 7-time winner of the AsiaOne People’s Choice Award for Best Buffet Restaurant in Singapore.
The buffet spread includes French, Japanese, Asian, Mediterranean, and Asian cuisines as well as a variety of tasty desserts. The selections are spaced evenly to ensure customers are not packed in one area.
We also appreciate it has a wide range of chilled fresh juices, which is ideal for those seeking healthier options for beverages. This is an additional value from Carousel since most places charge extra for specialty drinks.
Keep in mind that weekday and weekend buffet prices are slightly different from one another. Furthermore, there is a 15% discount offered by a few chosen bank partners if you go cashless.
We only wish that breakfast buffets were included in the credit card promotion. However, considering that Carousel costs only $42 per adult, it’s still a fine option for anyone who wants a premium buffet experience without breaking the bank.
Having said that, make sure to book in advance because this restaurant is usually full.

- Consistent operating schedule all week

- Outdoor dining is available
Cons

Royal Palm is found inside the Orchid Country Club, which is an 8-minute walk from the Opp Blk 512a bus stop. It has a straightforward operating schedule all week, however, it opens relatively later than other restaurants.
This restaurant is one of the few that offers halal options, which is ideal for those following religious practices. It has three sets of buffet selections for different days of the week.
Royal Palm has a distinctively laid-back vibe and resembles the feel of being inside a tropical resort. For those who want to eat their dinner outside in the fresh air, there are poolside tables.
The beef rendang is the crowd favorite but the stir-fried tom yum prawn is also something this restaurant is known for. Additionally, kids under three eat free here, which is an additional value for those dining with the whole family.
However, compared to other halal-certified restaurants, the three lunch and dinner buffet options have fewer alternatives. It does not have the most diverse selection, which may be an issue for those who want more variety in their buffet experience.
We are also a bit disappointed that the Royal Palm does not offer a breakfast buffet. Unlike most restaurants on this list, it also doesn’t have any discount options.
Be that as it may, its rates are quite affordable. The buffet starts at $67.

This restaurant is included in the list of Singapore’s international buffets. It is actually one of the well-renowned establishments on the island.
Melt is known for its warm and cold sweets, including fruit-flavored gelato and desserts like walnut, cinnamon bread, and butter pudding.
Meanwhile, cheesecakes, tarts, pastries, and seasonal fruits complete the sweet variety. Having said that, Melt has the widest range of desserts on this list.
We like that it has al fresco dining but it also has the main dining area for those who wish to dine indoors. The outdoor area is ideal for intimate dinners because it has a beautiful view of the restaurant’s garden.
We also like that the chefs at Melt can satisfy special dietary needs and requirements. It can serve gluten-free options as well as vegan and vegetarian.
The only downside is that Melt does not have a breakfast buffet. However, it has a 50% off for kids aged 7 to 12 years old — children ages 6 and below eat free too!

- Relatively affordable rates
- Wide range of food selections
- Offers exclusive brunch options
Cons
- Limited breakfast buffet options

Colony is located inside The Ritz Carlton, which is just beside the Promenade Station bus stop.
However, it has a haphazard schedule all week. It is unavailable between 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm and 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm from Monday to Saturday.
On Sundays, it is on break from 10:30 am to 12 pm and 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
Colony’s seafood buffet is only accessible for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, however, it has grown to be quite popular because of its posh ambiance and superb food quality.
Its ice bar offers delicious sashimi and freshly shucked oysters as starters. Its specials include grilled squid and the best-seller, the Boston lobster.
It also has international dishes like tandoori prawn, fish curry, deep-fried soft-shell crab, and other seafood delicacies.
Although its Vintage Champagne Brunch option is quite pricey, it has unlimited pours of Champagne Cristal 2013 and other exclusive cocktails paired with a serving of Oscietra caviar.
Sadly, we were a little let down by its limited breakfast buffet options. However, its rates are relatively affordable considering its premium selections on the buffet.
Lunch rates start at $72 and the dinner rate is $88. If you are looking for delicious seafood options and exclusive drinks for your next buffet experience, we highly suggest trying Colony at The Ritz Carlton.
