From traditional bakeries to furniture stores, Balestier feels like pulling a rabbit out of a magician’s hat, surprising you with every unexpected discovery.
It also has an old-world charm, transporting its visitors to the earlier days of Singapore.

Closest bus station: It’s best to get to Balestier Road using the bus. Look out for buses 21, 130, 131, 145, or 186 that stop along this road.

The aunty and uncle there are quite knowledgeable. In fact, we don’t mind spending hours there chatting with them and learning about their expertise.

As the cherry on top, we were impressed by the quality of the scans and the expert color correction when we got our films developed by them.
