  • New wave influence
  • Fresh and high-quality ingredients
  • Japanese-European influences
  • Open everyday

Cons

  • Pricey

Joie Restaurant is very different from other restaurants in Singapore with its focus on the high-end vegetarian experience. The restaurant features an innovative and impressive menu that doesn’t break anyone’s diet restrictions.

We love that the chefs at this establishment put a great deal of effort to create unique and flavorful dishes. Vegetarian food can sometimes taste bland because of its limited ingredients but the chefs here have somehow made them more delicious.

This is why a lot of Joie’s customers are actually meat lovers. From the ailing Mushroom On Paper Hot Pot to the Vegetable Sashimi, each dish is crafted with love and accuracy.

Another thing worth mentioning is the restaurant’s impressive romantic aesthetic. It is the perfect place for a special occasion and a great way for couples to work together on their diets.

In terms of accessibility, Joie is open every day, allowing diners to schedule a visit at their leisure. Lunch and dinner menus are provided, with a six-course lunch and a seven-course supper option.

The menu changes periodically to reflect the freshest products available, making every visit to Joie unique and interesting. Its only drawback is that it is expensive because of its focus on fine dining.

Whole Earth’s all-vegetarian menu combines Peranakan and Thai flavors. The restaurant was founded in 2003 with the goal of bringing plant-based cuisine to the forefront and promoting it to a wider audience outside of vegetarians and vegans.

We appreciate that the establishment only uses the freshest ingredients and that its chefs prepare each dish with care and authenticity.

The menu features a range of appetizing options such as the Steamed Shiitake Mushroom, Handmade Crispy Beancurd Roll, and Handmade Honey Lotus.

We also recommend the Royal Scallop Mushroom on Pea Shoots, which highlights the restaurant’s unique take on traditional dishes.

We love how Whole Earth is constantly exploring new ingredients and cuisines, making for an exciting and ever-evolving dining experience.

The restaurant has also won numerous honors, including the prestigious Michelin Bib Gourmand award for six years in a row from 2016 to 2022. This honor demonstrates the restaurant’s commitment to providing outstanding dining experiences.

While the restaurant has a lot to offer, there are a few downsides.

The restaurant’s ambiance and overall tone should be improved. Furthermore, Whole Earth is closed on Mondays, so plan ahead of time if you want to eat here.

Overall, it is an impressive choice for those seeking high-quality, all-vegetarian cuisine in the city.

  • Good parking area

Cons

  • Pricey

LingZhi is a Chinese vegetarian restaurant located in Orchard Road. With its innovative and quality dishes, it has been a popular dining destination for locals, tourists, and health-conscious food lovers since 1991.

We love how the restaurant only has the freshest, natural, and organic ingredients, with an emphasis on a wide variety of menu options to choose from.

One of the standout things about LingZhi is its chefs’ culinary expertise. Each dish is prepared carefully to ensure its ingredients retain their original taste and nutritional value.

We were impressed by the exquisite dining experience, the well-balanced taste of the food, and the beautiful presentation of these dishes.

We also love how the establishment is wheelchair-friendly, providing easy access to diners with mobility restrictions, and there is direct access to a multistorey parking area within the same building.

The restaurant is also kid-friendly, providing high chairs for little diners, and is open every day.

While the restaurant may be a bit pricey, we would argue that the price is worth it for those looking for a high-quality, healthier dining experience.

Most of the dishes on the menu are also vegan-friendly, and the restaurant caters to those with dietary restrictions, offering many options.

Pros

  • Open every day
  • Impressive menu
  • Faux meat
  • Great for new vegetarians
  • Festive menu
  • Also has vegan options

Cons

  • Can be crowded during peak hours

Sufood offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. It is located on North Bridge Road and is open every day.

Its impressive menu includes dishes like Handmade Rosemary Breadsticks, Energized Salad, Revitalizing Fruits and Vegetable Salad, Garlic Mushrooms, and more.

For anyone dining with a group, it offers both a 6-dish and an 8-dish meal that comes with sweet juice, a starter, a salad, soup, and a main dish. The 8-dish meal also includes a beverage and dessert.

The restaurant is a great choice for new vegetarians because of its faux options. These faux meats make the transition from meat-eater to vegetarian easier.

When it comes to the restaurant’s ambiance, the atmosphere can be described as fine dining but at an affordable price. Its plating, its seats, and its overall design match a lot of the usual fine dining restaurants that we’re used to.

However, the establishment can be crowded during peak hours. We suggest calling it for reservations first before visiting.

Sufood is a must-try for anyone looking for an affordable vegetarian experience in the city. If you’re looking for a meal that is both indulgent and healthy, this is one of the best Singapore has to offer.

Pros

  • Authentic Indian cuisine
  • Fresh and high-quality ingredients
  • Large portions
  • Islandwide Delivery
  • Open every day
  • Also offers catering

Cons

  • Pricey

Komala Vilas is a restaurant located in Serangoon Road that offers impressive vegetarian options through the flavors of India. It was established in 1936 by Mr. Murugiah Rajoo, an Indian resident who traveled to Singapore.

Decades later, the restaurant upheld Mr. Rajoo’s legacy by adhering to his original recipes and providing authentic traditional Indian vegetarian cuisine.

Indian cuisine is a magnificent combination of flavors, colors, and textures. A typical traditional lunch in South India, for example, is served on a freshly cut banana leaf and consists of delectable rice-based ingredients.

While North Indian cuisine is characterized by its thick, moderately spicy, and creamy sauces. The meals at the establishments are healthy and rich in dried fruits and nuts.

We love the variety of sweet and savory dishes despite being healthy. Each dish is prepared precisely and the aroma is very tempting.

Komala Vilas offers high-quality ingredients and large portions too. We appreciate that it is open every day, which makes it convenient to visit.

The establishment also offers islandwide delivery and catering services, so it’s a good option for events and celebrations.

However, the restaurant can be pricey especially if you’re dining alone. Still, the authentic Indian cuisine and fresh ingredients make it a worthwhile experience.
